Have been using this app for a very long time. I really love it... has proven invaluable. My only criticism is, and this has been very frustrating, if my phone is not connected to a power cable the app eventually stops transmitting audio. I have removed the app from "battery usage optimization" to prevent the Doze Mode, but it still does this. Fixing this would make the app nearly perfect. The latency is noticable, but tolerable.
RED FLAGS. to d/l the matching server application required signing up for a forum with personal information. TOS explicitly says they will sell your information and market to you. WORSE, it inserts itself silently as a startup application with no way to stop it. i used msconfig to remove it from startup apps (removes the registry key it adds), but it reinserts itself every time you run it! i do not trust it. functionality is ok once, then fails without a complete phone restart every time.
This mainly works fine. Some issues though: 1) This app will stop working on its own regardless or not if you change battery settings for it. Other apps like Blokada get around this by having a persistent notification. 2) I would like the app to be put on Github, hosting it on a forum is sketchy. 3) There is some slight latency at times but I'm not sure what causes it.
