interesting app. excellent that it installs about 1gb data to sd card. interface is cumbersome as all items in display are hot spot link clickable. scrolling up with scrollbar might give more granular contol than up/down button. i might suggest android developers consider a focus column for selected year by increasing item sizes in column...adjacent columns left normal. i would also request an option to export bookmarks. i would like to casually use on my android tablet and export my interesting bookmarks to my phone. i used a similar addon to genealogy app from decades ago...wasn't academic research but interesting to see places and events and their results on my family's history. i have always read science fiction and non-fiction history. now that we are totally screwed and actually living, or living again this reality i find it comforting to reflect on bigger random historical context. rant: college of architecture emphasized that the arc of history mainly moves sideways and the history of architecture is really the story of history. occasionally there is a wild card that provides a radical new direction, those were the interesting architectural developments. in my architectural career, if i was lucky i might come across the answer. if i was real lucky i would come across the question. thanks for your efforts in creating this app.
Spectacular! I love the visualization in the "timeline" with the images. Some suggested enhancements: - Sort the bookmarks by "Start Date" of the events. (It could be very useful to see the events we mark in a chronological order!) - Add filters to see in the timeline only "determined" tipe of events.
Greatest history app I've ever come across. The timeline design makes it easy to cruise through millennia while not missing even the most arbitrary historical event. The designers are terrific in that I've owned this app three years and they still update it!
