I am glad that Google allows people to see the original and edited versions of this. Now I know why I gave Yahoo mail app 1 star. In reply to my original post, yahoo focusd first on the app has not been around 10 years. The first yahoo mail app was created in 2004 for palm devices. Very rude response from yahoo mail app developer. A business professional would first focus on the problem stated in my review, not put the main focus on trying to insult me the way you did.
I'm having issues with the notification settings. I have the in-app notification category for People enabled. It doesn't always notify me when actual people email me, yet spam messages show up in my status bar. I remembered why I disabled them. I have two Yahoo mail accounts linked. One is for personal matters, and the other one is more professional. I want to make sure that I respond to people in a timely manner. Who wants to be checking email every 5 minutes?
APP IS STILL MESSING UP. Im not the only one having this issue. App freezes, can't make it go back to main mail screen with the back button .I have to hit the upper back arrow by my email and then it will usually work or it will still freeze up or shuts down with an error and I have to restart the app hoping it works. This all started after the last 2 updates that were put out. This is on a new galaxy s22 ultra.
