So far I can't seem to upload pictures from my phone's gallery. Everytime I do, the app shuts off. I test trialed taking a snap at something and then it let me proceed to see other people to swipe and start connecting. But that's as far as I could get. There's no way to go back and re-upload pics. Possibly a bug. I got out of the app and it had me restart the uploads. I have an android so I wonder if it's not yet fully compatible for it. Please look into this and fix!
Edit: I think the app only works with photos that are actually on your device, i.e., if your photo is in the cloud Yuzu doesn't know how to handle that and will crash. Hopefully that helps others. Like others, I can't upload a photo. Somehow the only photo that worked (out of like 20 tries) was a screen shot from Genshin... which doesn't exactly represent me well. I'm not Nahida, I promise.
Luckily I have both Android and iOS and can confirm the app doesn't work well with Android and they don't seem to plan on doing anything about it. The location filters don't work but the age ones do and the younger crowds definitely have to deal with a lot of bots (over 30 seems to be fine mostly) but since they have paid partners on IG, that's bound to happen. Most of us have just gone off app to IG group chats or Discord but the community spaces in Yuzu aren't too bad so 2 stars.
