Zinio is a nice idea, but the execution is terrible. If you have fast wi-fi, the app hangs for several minutes when starting up, and when switching from one magazine to another, but when off-line, the app does not work at all. The magazine selection is very limited. The reading experience is poor, as the text is to hard to read in page view, and when zooming in, it is hard to scroll around and easy to get disoriented. Nothing has improved since the app was first created, so it will be surpassed.
Has a bug somewhere. It's telling me that I've reached my limit of 5 devices and that I need to log out on one before I can open on another. I've only got my Android and my notebook with the app installed. Y'all beed to get this straightened out. I never had a problem til I started adding content. Now that I have a subscription or two it starts malfunctioning. That's typical. So I get a response saying to reply with more detailed information about the issue. I've got two devices, not 5.
Almost unusable. My subscriptions expired, but I never received an email informing me about that. When I ran the app it never notified me about expired subscriptions. When I tried to open a magazine, it simply wouldn't open - no error message, just eternal spinning waiting icons. I only realized what the problem was when I was able to open older issues but not newer ones. I tried to purchase a new subscription, but wasn't able to find any way to accomplish the task - I could only find an option to buy an individual issue, which was NOT what I wanted. I've had it with this really crappy app. I'm switching to Readly.
