I've been a Zwift subscriber since 2018 and the app quality has gone up and down over that time. Recently, the app design changes have just become too annoying and I am looking at alternatives. The login screen which freezes randomly when you select your profile requiring an app restart. The device connection screen used to immediately connect and show status, now has no indicators and takes way longer to connect. The workout select screen was simple to select a workout, now completely unusable.
I love it! One thing I don't care for (and this may actually be a faulty cadence sensor) is my cadence drops SIGNIFICANTLY when going uphill. Which I'm fully aware you're trying to simulate outside terrain. But I very clearly pedal faster and my cadence still drops quickly. Which, again, could be a bad sensor. I'll test that out after my new stuff comes Thursday. All in all, though, I really like Zwift, it's a great way to train!
Would end my subscription if there was a better option. The UI needs work, loading times are ridiculous for the mediocre graphics, and syncing with my devices takes too long. And why doesn't it stay synced when I go back to the home screen?!? A recent update also screwed up the resolution on my external 1600×900 monitor. The image is stretched and is unplayable. Fix these issues please!
