The game is from the simulation genre hence having a storyline is unnecessary, but it is an animal crossing game, so that it will have an excellent introduction. You, as an in-game, will be speaking to other characters of the game, and while doing so, the game will simultaneously teach you what the basics are and where to access stuff. Generally, in these types of games, you are directly into the gameplay once you start the game. Still, here the introduction will act as a small story and a tutorial, which is a very brilliant way to welcome new players who are coming to the franchise for the first time. 

 

It is better to know what the game is all about right from the start because it will give you a better idea of what has to be done to progress quickly and effectively. Or else you will end up confused if you barely know about the game at the start.

Also, in terms of accessibility, the game is excellent as there are tabs right on the screen that will directly let you access the necessary items easily and quickly. But at one point, there might be too many things happening on the screen that will overwhelm players. We cannot complain about this much, though, because the game is on the mobile platform has to adjust with a way smaller screen than that of PCs and consoles.

 

Overall the controls are excellent and suit the game very well. The games have multiple control support modes, and you can also connect a mobile controller if you prefer gameplay controls.

Nintendo has always been almost perfect with their releases and Animal crossing is no different. The gameplay is brilliantly optimized for mobile devices and even if players from consoles and PCs play the game they will heartily enjoy it as there is no difference in gameplay across platforms. 

 

The game, originally being from bigger screen devices, struggles with visuals on mobile devices. Don't get us wrong, the graphics are excellent and well optimized but once you progress in terms of building and developing you will notice there is too much going on the screen and at one point it will become uncanny to look at due to too much chaos occurring on the screen.

 

Rest assured, the game is one of the best simulation games out there, and you will have a great time playing it with all the customizations and other stuff to explore.

The game is excellent in terms of all aspects, and coming from a company like Nintendo, you can expect nothing less in terms of the sheer gameplay experience of a particular genre. Animal Crossing already has a huge fan base, and the mobile release brings in new players. So go ahead and build your virtual world in the game!
