If you want a motor to work, you have to place it inside a wooden or metal box, and anything you attach to it will get the power if you use a spring to connect two boxes and put an engine at the end. The spring will conduct the power to the next box. 

 

You can easily make a flying machine by combining three balloons and a box, and if you place two fans on the left and right of the box, you can use them to maneuver the contraption. You can use it to explore everything on a map, but remember that it is not suitable for time-sensitive stages; if you use a copter propeller instead of the balloons, it will move faster.
