Cat Fantasy - Closed Beta Game Review and Gacha Rates

Cat Fantasy is a new upcoming Turn Based RPG Gacha Game currently in closed beta. As the game starts, you will see “Catto City”, a special City with Human and Cat-Like creatures coexisting in peace, burning and attacked by monsters. Luckily,  this is just a vision of the future, or well, the VERY near future, since it’s only 40 minutes before the destruction, and you are the only hope to change it. After you regain your consciousness, you will be rescued by your Cat-Allies and “White”, your Cat Assistant. A girl is asking for help right after you get back to your senses, chased by a strange Man, being suspected to be the one who started the Catto City destruction. Once the girl is saved and the Man defeated, you discover that the girl is a traitor, and the one who wants to destroy Catto City! After losing the battle, you will finally be put back in time, exactly 136 Days before the great Catastrophe. Now it’s all about you! Explore Catto City, make new friends, get a great team of allies and try to save Catto City from total destruction!

What is Cat Fantasy?

Cat fantasy is a new Turn Based RPG Gacha Game. In this game you fight monsters in a team formed by up to 4 Characters. Each Character has a different Element (Red, Green, Blue, White and Black) and Role (Single Target, AoE, Heal, Defence, Buff, Debuff). The game offers a great variety of content both PvE and PvP. At the start you have the rich Main Story, that will unlock all other features of the game. There’s also Daily Quests to complete for obtain various rewards, Equipment Stages to collect equipment for your Characters, Material Stages to increase Character Rank, Zone Boss to fight and Giant Anomaly Invasion that you can fight with other players, Fishing, Cooking and Cafè that you can decorate, Real Time Arena (PvP), World Boss, Phantom Colosseum and much more content coming with Events, new Characters etc! Closed Beta Game Content

Main Story

The “Main Story” is the first game content you will unlock in Cat Fantasy. The Main Story will introduce you to all aspects of the game. It will guide you (in a very good way!) to discover all the game features, enhance your party and unlock all other features. Completing Main Story Stages will give you a lot of rewards, Catto Coins, Exp Orb, Cat’s Eye, District Badge, New Characters, A lot of Raid Tickets etc, also unlock new areas in Catto City. You require Phatos (stamina) to challenge Main Story Stages the first time, after you can review all stages for free. If you fail to defeat monsters in the stage, the Phatos used will not be restored

Equipment Stage

The “Equipment Stage” game content lets you challenge different stages and boss fights to collect new Equipment. Each piece can be obtained in different zones, based on your Main Story Progress. Completing a stage requires Phatos, and Raiding a Stage (Skip Fight) also requires both Phatos and Raid Tickets. You will unlock different Sets based on the District you already completed (Ex: Quince will give you ATK Set, while Southport will give you DEF set)

Boss Battle & Giant Anomaly Invasion

The “Boss Battle” game content lets you fight a difficult boss fight to obtain a Supply Box. Each Supply Box contains pieces of gear from the Boss’s District (Ex: Penta City Plaza will give you Quince District Set Pieces, ATK Set). Challenging a boss fight requires Phatos, and you can also Raid it with Phatos and Raid Tickets. 

Giant Anomaly Invasion

• Each time you complete a Boss Battle you will increase the chance for a Giant Anomaly Invasion to appear. This Invasion is a very dangerous fight you can complete with the help of other players (or NPC). Completing a Giant Anomaly Invasion will reward you with Magic Cube Shard and Star-Up Fiber. 

Fishing

The “Fishing” game content is a nice and cute “Mini Game” but very important for the game progress. Here’s how to fight properly:

How to Fish

• Partner = You can choose a partner to fish with to increase the chance of getting better fish or increase damage during fishing to the fish

• Fishing Rod = The Better to Rod you gonna use, the better the fish you will get and easily

• Fishing Reel = High Grade Fishing Reel won’t let the fish escape

• Fishing Line = Longest Fishing Line won’t let the fish break the Line

• Star Bait = Change the rarity of your bait (from 1 to 5) based on the fish you want to catch

Fishing is required to make new Dishes, complete Daily Quest, Sub Quest and Main Quest Story, and also Order. Remember that you need a Fishing Voucher to be able to start fishing, obtainable from Mission or Shop.

Characters, Equipments & Battle Guide

Characters

Each “Character” in Cat Fantasy is strong, but to become strong you must know how to improve them and grow them. Let’s see how to make a character stronger and improve their power:

Element

• Red / Green / Blue Phatos = They are strong against Green / Blue / Red Phatos (+30% Damage Done, -30% Damage received) but weak against Blue / Red / Green Phatos (+30% Damage received, -30% Damage Done)

• White Phatos = They are Neutral to Element (+10% Damage Done -10% Damage Received against all)

• Black Phatos = They are Neutral to Element (+20% Damage Done against all)

Role

• Single Target = Uses High Single Target damage to annihilate enemy units
  AoE = Uses frequent Area Of Effect damage to annihilate multiple enemy units
  Heal = Recovers HP of all allies and cleanse from debuffs
  Defence = Use Shield ability and Taunt to protect teammates
  Buff = Apply buffs to allies and increase their combat ability
  Debuff = Apply Debuffs to enemies, reducing their combat ability

Faction

• Some Character have Passive Ability that Boost Specific Faction (Ex: Pure Faction, Mythic Faction etc)

Harmony

• Some Character have a special Harmony Connection that provide them Passive Bonuses when a character is linked to them

Affection

• Reaching the maximum affection will give character some Passive Bonuses (Ex: Hp, Def, etc)

Level Up

• Each Character must be leveled up to increase Stats. Character maximum level is locked by your account level (ex: at the start the maximum level for your character is 10, further unlocked by leveling your account)

Rank Up

• A Character can reach higher Rarity (Ex: from R grade to SR etc) by using Special Items you can collect in Rank-Up Stages. You also require to reach your Level cap before being able to reach higher Rarity

Star Up

• When you get a Character Dupe from Gacha or other sources, you will be able to consume Dupes Shard to improve your Character Stars. Getting more Stars unlock passive Stats

Skill

• You can level up your Character Skill by consuming Skill Items (Ex: Pleasure Doodle Jar)

Equipments

The “Equipment” in Cat Fantasy is also important for improving your Character Power. There's a different Set based on the District you already unlocked (Ex: ATK Set at Quince District and DEF set at Southport). You have a total of 6 Pieces:

Equipment

• Earring = HP main Stats.

• Tailpiece = DEF main Stats.

• Claws = ATK main Stats.

• Headpiece = HP main Stats. Only obtained by random Boxes from Boss Battle

• Necklace = DEF main Stats. Only obtained by random Boxes from Boss Battle

• Mouthpiece = ATK main Stats. Only obtained by random Boxes from Boss Battle

Train

• You can improve a piece of gear by Training, improving Main Stat

Star Up

• Once you reach enough training upgrade (Ex. +5) you can Star Up a piece of gear to get 1 random Stats.

Refine

• If you are not satisfied with the Stars you got from Star Up, you can Refine an item to change the stats you got.

Battle Guide

Fighting in Cat Fantasy can be hard if you don’t know how to do it properly. Let’s see how to fight and what you can do:

1. Your Enemy. You can always press on any enemy to check the Advantage/Disadvantage of your team element. You can also long press on enemies to check their statuses, Skills etc.

2. Here you can Activate Auto, Change the game Speed and Pause it

3. Here you can choose your cards. Each time 2 cards of the same type are near, they will fuse into a better rank.

4. Here you can undo your moves or Skip your Turn

5. Your Squad. You can long press on any of your Character to check Buffs, Debuffs, Skills etc

6. Here you can use the Chat or Check the Element Wheel

Gacha Rates

One False Note

The “One False Note” is the first Rate Up Banner in Cat Fantasy. In this banner you can only use the Special Currency “Pathos Crystal - One False Note”, that can only be exchanged in the shop for Cat’s Eye. A single Pull cost 1 Pathos Crystal (180 Cat’s Eye) and a x10 Pull cost 10 Pathos Crystal (1800 Cat’s Eye). Here’s the rates:

Character

SSR Rate = 3.2% (1.4884% For Rate Up)

SR Rate = 18%
R Rate = 78.8%

Pity

• After you reach 80 Pulls, you are Guaranteed to obtain an SSR Character (50% chance for the rate up)

Wish Summon

The “Wish Summon” is a Special Banner in Cat Fantasy. In this banner you can only use the Special Currency “SSR Pathos Crystal”. You can select up to 5 SSR of your choice and you will get one of them with each pull. A single Pull cost 1 SSR Pathos Crystal and a x10 Pull cost 10 Pathos Crystal. Here’s the rates:

Character

SSR Rate = 100% (20% Each Chosen Character)

Faction Summon

The “Faction Summon” is another Special Banner in Cat Fantasy. In this banner you can only use the Special Currency “Faction Pathos Crystal”, that can be exchanged in the shop for “Base” items. A single Pull cost 100 Faction Pathos Crystal (500 Base) and a x10 Pull cost 1000 Faction Pathos Crystal (5000 Base). Here’s the rates:

Character

SSR Rate = 2.5%

SR Rate = 18.6%
R Rate = 78.9%

Pity

• Every 10 Pulls you are Guaranteed to obtain at least 1 SR Character

• After you reach 60 Pulls, you are Guaranteed to obtain an SSR Character (50% chance for the rate up)

Regular Summon

The “Regular Summon” is the Normal Banner in Cat Fantasy. In this banner you can use the “Normal Pathos Crystal” Currency. A single Pull will cost 100 Pathos Crystal and a x10 Pull costs 1000 Pathos Crystal. Here’s the rates:

SSR Rate = 2.2%

SR Rate = 23%
R Rate = 74.8%

Pity

• Every 10 Pulls you are Guaranteed to obtain at least 1 SR Character

• After you reach 80 Pulls, you are Guaranteed to obtain an SSR Character
