RPGs have been on the top for the most loved genre in the gaming universe. Most of the successful and super hit titles are from the role-playing segment of games. Some developers created their games with new ideas, while others built games inspired by famous anime series, bringing new people into the community. For a long time, players in the gaming world might already know about the Final Fantasy series because the game was originally created for consoles, PCs, and mobile devices. A tier list segregates players according to their ranks, power levels, abilities, etc. Below we will mention all the tiers with the character names and help players choose which character will be the best on an overall basis.

 

TIER SS

The SS tier consists of the best characters in the game. There are all-rounders with the best usability in battles. But certain characters are superior to other characters in the same tiers. Here, Cloud is the best in the SS tier because he is the best overall DPS character with all stats balanced. So with this character, you are covered in all aspects, including Bravery.

In this tier list, there are many good characters with some unique abilities, but one prevails in terms of a very useful ability when it comes to battles. Edgar can be very useful in battles as he is a debuffer. He can decrease the enemy's stats during battles, which makes your enemy weak. This tier contains characters that are not as good as the SS or S tiers but have decent abilities that can rival the S-ranked characters. You can consider these characters for battles as they can provide great assistance with unique abilities. Here we can say two characters can be extremely useful in battles.

 

First of all, we have Ace, a self-buffing character and a very reliable DPS. His self-buffing ability helps him boost his stats, including Bravery which can sometimes make him almost invincible. And then we have Shantotto, a great debuffer who can debuff the enemy in terms of stats, including Bravery, which causes the enemy to drop quickly.

Characters in tier B are not that great compared to SS, S, and A because their abilities and overall stats are very average. But the number of characters in Tier B is the highest, so there is one character who can help you progress. Despite being a B-tier character, Cater has a very good BRV attack ability. He is a great BRV attacker who can help you quickly reduce the enemy's Bravery by stealing it at a rapid pace. Cater can be helpful when dealing with bosses or difficult enemies with huge BRV stats.

It is better not to use characters from this tier because they are just average below average in terms of overall stats. It is better to go for tiers above B. Still, one character can be used as a supporting character. Ashe can be a great debuffer because of her ability. Even though the stat decrease on the enemy is much less than other debuffers in higher tiers, Ashe can still prove useful in some dire situations.

This is the third last tier with characters not that great. Not all characters can be used from this tier because, in terms of abilities, there is a huge gap between characters from tier A to tier D. Aerith is the only character that can prove to be helpful in this tier because of her healing ability along with an ability that will help you recharge your BRV meter.

There are no useful characters in fights because it's the second last tier. You cannot expect much in terms of abilities, and it is absolutely recommended to stay away from this tier.

There is only one character named Sazh, a ranged DPS player in this tier. But obviously, he is the worst character in the game and cannot be used in battles under any circumstances.
