Dragon Arise is a game that has something for everyone; however, with so many features and systems, it can be hard to get started and master the game. That's why we have created this handy Dragon Arise beginner's guide to help you learn the basics and strategies of the game. By the end of this guide, you will be able to understand the game better and have a more enjoyable experience. You can have even more fun by playing Dragon Arise on PC with LDPlayer. Let's start.

Dragon Arise Early Game Progression

The game starts in the adventure mode, and you will have to clear around ten battles and dialogs to get to the main Island of Dragon Arise. Until then, the game feels pretty bare-bones, so if you are just in this phase, keep going. When the Island unlocks, the real fun begins.

Dragon Arise Early Game Progression

Once you get out of this phase, you will be brought into the Main Island. On this Island, you will see ten buildings. The shrine is the most important building on this Island.

If you want to unlock other buildings, this is the one you have to upgrade; however, to upgrade the shrine, you have to advance in the adventure map. So, even after unlocking the Island, what you should spend most of your stamina on is clearing the adventure mode.

Resource Production

Even without upgrading the shrine, you will be able to rebuild the alchemy lab and herb field. These two buildings are unlocked early in the game because the herb field allows you to produce herbs that you will need to create a Honeydew. Honeydew is the material you need to level up your dragons.

So the first thing you should do as an upgrade is unlocking these two buildings and start their production. Since Honeydew demand is never going to diminish, a good rule of thumb is never to let them stop their production. But to produce these, you will need a lot of gold and mana.

You can earn gold by playing different modes and missions, but you can only earn mana from the Mana-Spring. This is the blue pond you will see in the middle of the Island. It produces around eight mana per minute at its base level. When you level this building up, you will be able to increase its production.

When you run out of mana, you can also use the material shown inside the mana spring to restock the mana storage. These materials are called Mana Sapphire and come in 5 sizes; using the smallest one, you can get 100 Mana instantly, and the largest one gives around 10K. So before you use one of these, make sure to check whether the mana storage has the space to stock them.

As a practice, you should hoard these as a last messer and always prioritize the auto-generation over using Mana Sapphire for better efficiency. If you are in a hurry, you can always boost the production with gems, but this is not advice; instead, save the gems for dragon hatching because you will need a lot of dragon shards to build a more powerful army.

To get some mana in a short time before you start the upgrade, you should spend all of the already produced mana and start the upgrade, and you can spend a few diamonds to finish the upgrade. When you finish, you will see you have a full mana stock.

So, you now understand the importance of working on your adventure level. While you are on your way to raising your adventure level, you will be introduced to other game modes. You should give these a go since the tutorial teaches you how to and what are the best things you can do in each mode. But make sure to keep your focus on increasing your adventure level.

Seven-day Growth Event

As we describe, increasing your adventure level is the most important thing you can do in the early game of Dragon Arise. As you level up, you will also unlock tons of rewards like dragon eggs, stamina, gems, and upgrade material in the event center of the Dragon Arise. If you want a few goals to chase, you can work on the seven-day mission.

These missions are fairly easy to do, and they are made of things that contribute to healthy progress. So, investing time in working on these missions is not a bad idea. One other important thing you have to remember about even sections is the banquet event. At a certain time of the day, a banquet event will be held and give out 100 stamina. Make a mental note of this time, log into the game, and collect these free rewards.

Make Initial Perches

If you are thinking of spending money on Dragon Arise and are not sure about what to buy, you can just buy the package that sells for 0.99. This will trigger the first-time bonus and reward you with the legendary dragon Happy. He is a good tank dragone and makes your early game progression much easier.

Add Some Friends

One other thing you can do as soon as you unlock the Island is add some friends. Having friends allows you to send and receive stamina. The stamina you sent is not from your own stash, so you don't have to worry about it, but you can earn 100 stamina if you have a lot of friends. So make sure to fill up your friend list as soon as possible.

Dragon Arise Game Modes

There are a lot of modes, and in this section, we will give you a quick guide for all of them and provide some tips to play them.

The World Adventure

Dragon Arise Game Modes

This is the story mode of Dragon Arise. The story is divided among a few islands, and you will see each Island is further divided into a few sections. What you have to do here is go through each node and unveil the story of the game. These modes give you a ton of useful rewards like legendary eggs, imprints, coins, upgrade materials, and more.

But navigating through it can be a bit tricky, so use the track option to find the next place you have to go to continue your journey. Other than the main quest nodes, you will find another set of blue quests called side stories; if you want to get all the start in the Island, make sure to do them. These side stories also give you additional rewards and have fun stories for you to enjoy.

Once you collect all the stars, you can collect the adventure collection chest for more rewards. Once you finish an island, if you did not get to open the reward chest, go inside and use the drop-down option to see what you have missed, and clicking on it will directly take you to the place where you can complete it.

The Lair Exploration

If you want dragon souls, this is the place you should come. In this mode, you will find three Lair and each Lair provides different types of dragon souls. When you enter one, you can move around the lair using the joystick located on the right side of the screen. In this mode, you can only move to an open room, and when you move to an open room, it will open up another adjacent lair; if a room does not open, that means that you have reached the end of the road.

If the stage does not end when this happens, you have to go back and explore another room that you have not explored yet and continue to explore the entire lair. While exploring, you will come across rooms with red statues. If you want to move past them, you have to fight and defeat the enemies. The second type of room is the healing fountains; these fountains can heal your team.

You can either move past them or activate them, depending on whether your team needs healing or not. Our advice is to leave them alone if you don't need them because you can come back and use them anytime you want. The last type of room is fully decorated, and they have the dragon souls. Each lair has two or more of these, and you can get a good idea about where they are if you find the room with the lamp.

These lamp rooms reveal every explorable room, so make sure to make a mind map of where to go before leaving this room. Other than the main rooms, you really don't find and challenge other rooms; only engage them if you want to move past them.

Apex Arena

This is the PVP mode of the Dragon Arise. You need arena passes to compete in this mode. You will receive a certain number of arena passes every day to participate in it. When you enter this mode, you will see a list of players, and you will see their names, the treasure they are wearing, and their combat power.

When choosing an opponent, their combat power is the main thing you want to know; this is because if the opponents have slightly higher combat power than you have, you will most definitely lose. So, always challenge opponents who are slightly lower than you. In order to check your combat power, go to the My-Line-Up section and create your lineup. In the left bottom corner of your lineup, you will be able to see how much combat power you have.

Sometimes, all the players shown to you will have more combat power than you; in such a moment, you can use the free refresh to replace them with another set of players, but you can only do this free refresh for a certain amount of the day, and after that, you have to spend diamond to do it.

Once you win a battle, you will be awarded bamboo shoots and arena points. Arena points contribute to your PVP world rank. You can use the bamboo shoot in the arena shop to buy dragon souls, dragon eggs, and imprints. We like to spend them on getting legendary imprints and eggs, but you can decide depending on your needs.

The Place of Memories

This is the place you have to come to if you are in the market for Dragone skill leveling materials. This place has four areas for four classes of dragons.

1. Dragonheart Rift: Here, you can get items that level up your Attacker Dragon Skills.

2. Pine Grove: Here, you can get items that level up your Defender Dragon Skills.

3. Laurel Garden: Here, you can get items that level up your Healer Dragon Skills.

4. Snow Forest: Here, you can get items that level up your Support Dragon Skills.

Once you clear a few levels, you can use the sweep option to get the reward, only spending the stamina required without actually fighting. Since you will need a ton of these skill level-up materials, this is a good place to dump your surplus stamina.

War of Dragons

If you want to test your team's strength and be rewarded for it, this is the place you will like the most. The combat is simple: make the best strategic team and fight the boss; the reward depends on how much you are able to lower the boss's health.

For example, if the boss has five layers of HPs, lowering one layer earns you the first reward, and lowering another will give you a higher reward, and if you manage to kill the boss, you get the full reward. If you are struggling with creating formation, click on the guide.

In the lower section of the first page of the guide, you will see the most suitable dragons you currently have for this challenge and some tips like recommended treasures. Currently, there are four bosses, and before you click on the guide, make sure to click on the right boss, or you will be opening a guide for the wrong boss.

Land of Renewal

This is the next place you can spend your time if you want to level up your Dragon Arise adventure rank. For every main story chapter you complete, you will be unlocking one of the challenge stages. These challenges give you adventure Exp, Honeydew, and Liones that you require to ascend your dragons.

Eye of the Insight

This is the dispatch option of Dragon Arise; once you clear an island in story mode, through this mode, you get to send your dragon to do missions on those islands. But to do them, you have to have specific dragons that are required for each mission. Use the dispatch all option and select the time available to you, and you will only have to come and collect the rewards after the time has elapsed.

Dragon Arise Power Up System

In the above modes, we have talked about how to get the material needed to do these upgrades, so in this section, we will only explain the basics of each power-up option available in the game. There are five strengthened paths available in Dragon Arise.

Dragon Arise Power Up System

The first one is the level-up. You can go to the dragon section, select the dragon you like, and click on the upgrade button in the bottom right corner. This will increase your dragon level and increase its base, like hp, attack, and defense. For every ten levels after reaching level 20, you need to go to the gens section and make a breakthrough to level them up further.

This is called a startup. In the gens section, you will find more power-up options to branch out, but if you are struggling with resources, just stick to the mid-lane, and when you have extra, you can invest in other options like HP or defense increase.

Dragon Arise: Imprint System

Dragon Arise: Imprint System

Think of this as the gear system of Dragon Arise. There are many types of imprints, and each imprint type has a slot that they can be equipped with. That means you can not equip your dragon with two flashbacks.

You can identify the slot of the imprint by the Roman number next to its name. These imprints provide one main state, like attack, defense, and HP. When you level them up, the secondary stat set will unlock.

Each imprint has six imprints, and wearing three of the same type activates the first set bonus; wearing all six will activate the second set bonus. The imprint has to be chosen according to the dragon rolls. Imprints that provide HP are good for tanks but not very useful for attack dragons.

When you go to the imprint page, you will see a golden-like button on the left side of the imprint name; this indicates that this is recommended for this dragon by other Dragon Arise players. But we have doubts about this system, so take it with a grain of salt.
