As soon as you start the game, what you have to do is pick your club's badge. This does not affect your performance or how you play; it only represents you. The Scout Center

Clicking on the shield icon with a star mark on it will show the players you can get through the gacha, and the one next to it will allow you to summon a new player. Add Players to the Formation in

Once you recruit a player in EA SPORTS FC™ EMPIRES, the next thing you have to do is add them to the formation. To add a new recruit to the formation, click on the stadium and then click on the field icon. Here, you will see the substitutes (extra players that you have already recruited) on the left side of the screen and a set of players that have already been added to your formation on the pitch.

Players on the pitch are scattered around the field. This is not for decoration; if you look closely, they are arranged according to the position they will be playing in matches. There are no exact rules on where you must place a player. Any player on the pitch can play various positions, but they are strongest in their indicated position on their card.

Not all players you earn from the EA SPORTS FC™ EMPIRES gacha should be placed on the field. You should only replace players in lower rarity with higher rarity players you have summoned. There are five rarities of players in the game: Iron, Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Red. Iron is the lowest quality, and red is the highest quality player you can get.

EA SPORTS FC™ EMPIRES Quest Interface

This is where you will find the chapter quests. If you want to unlock all the game options faster, you should finish these quests quickly. Other than unlocking new parts of the game, they also have decent completion rewards. You can get cash, an energy bottle, building speed-ups, a new player for every chapter quest set, and more through completion.

Earn Free Players

One of the best things that comes when you rush through the early chapters of the EA SPORTS FC™ EMPIRES is that you can unlock the quest section of the game. You have to use your team to complete them. When you complete one group of quests, you get a free silver rarity player as a reward. If you are a free-to-play player, this is one of the best things you can use to acquire some free players. 

To complete them all, you have to go to the quest section, select the available quest, and press go. Then, you will be taken to the world map where you can search for a place where you will be able to complete them. However, there is no guarantee that you will be able to do some quests in a single match, so be ready to repeat the same match a few times.

How to Use the Recovery Buildings

After finishing a match in EA SPORTS FC™ EMPIRES, your players lose energy, and this happens every time they play. If you want to use your players in more matches once they deplete their stamina, you should go into the Physio Room and distribute stamina among players from your existing stamina pool. However, you should not do this carelessly because stamina is somewhat of a precious resource. So, you should only recover stamina for players you use the most rather than using the button to restore stamina for all players.

Another building that works similarly to the Physio Room is the Hospital. As the frequency and intensity of matches increase, every team will have injuries occur. The medical building is where you can heal your players. To do that, go into the hospital building and choose the player you want to heal. 

At the start of EA SPORTS FC™ EMPIRES, you will have only one hospital bed and have to actively heal injured players manually. Still, if you upgrade this building, you can unlock extra beds and queue up a few players at a time. This strategic approach ensures you manage your resources effectively, focusing on the players vital to your team's success.

Power Up Your Players

If you want to strengthen your team in EA SPORTS FC™ EMPIRES, one of the first things you can do is rank up your players. However, to qualify for ranking up, you first need to use them in matches and accumulate some experience points. Ranking up increases your player's overall stats and max level. Once they have enough experience points to rank up, go to the formation section and click on one of the eligible players. The rank-up process is done by feeding other players to the player you want to rank up, but not everyone qualifies as rank-up material.

When you go to the rank-up window of a player, you will see the list of players that can be used as rank-up material. On the left side of the screen, you will see the conditions that the player you use as rank-up material should meet. Clicking on a rank-up material will turn it green if it meets the requirements and red if it doesn't.

How to Choose Talent

The next thing you can do to strengthen your team in EA SPORTS FC™ EMPIRES is player talents. In the player card description, you will see a button called Talent. Click on it, and you will be taken to the talent window, where you will see the player's talent. Players receive talent points after ranking up and leveling up. You can use these talent points to increase a player's skills. Click on a talent and press upgrade from the pop-up box that appears. There are six key areas of skills for each player: Defense, Physical, Pass Skill, Shoot Skills, Speed Skills, and Dexterity.

Investing in any talent is not the best way to do this. Instead, look at the player's skill numbers, their perks, and the position you are using that player. Then, you can decide which areas you should enhance. For example, if you are working with a player that plays in the RCB position, whose job is to stop the other team from scoring, they will benefit more from having skills in the defense section. You can use the following skills required for each position to distribute your skill points for each player:

Right Back (RB) / Left Back (LB):

• Defensive Skills: Tackling, marking, and intercepting passes.

• Crossing: Ability to deliver accurate crosses into the opponent's box.

• Endurance: Full-backs often cover a lot of ground, so stamina is crucial.

Center Back (CB):

• Tackling: Strong defensive tackling to win the ball from opponents.

• Aerial Ability: Winning headers, especially during defensive set-pieces.

• Ball Distribution: Passing ability to start build-up play from the back.

Central Midfielder (CM) / Defensive Midfielder (CDM) / Attacking Midfielder (CAM):

• Passing: Precise short and long-range passing.

• Ball Control: Ability to receive and control the ball under pressure.

• Vision: Awareness of the entire field to make effective decisions.

Striker (ST):

• Finishing: Clinical ability to score goals.

• Hold-up Play: Strength and ball control to retain possession.

Left Wing (LW) / Right Wing (RW):

Before heading to a match in EA SPORTS FC™ EMPIRES, you should compare your formation with your opponent's formation and make adjustments accordingly. To change your formation, locate and click on the formation icon near the bottom section of the preparation window. Once clicked, you'll see several preset formations on the right side of the screen. Choosing the best formation for each match is simple—just observe the screen as you change formations. If the chosen formation decreases the team power, it's not the one to go for. However, if the team power increases with the change, that's the formation to choose.

Next, focus on changing tactics. While there are various tactics in the game, you need a better coach to utilize them. To identify the best formation, select one and check for any red arrows next to players. These arrows indicate that your chosen tactic may lower their performance or put them at a disadvantage. Go through all available formations and select the one that doesn't put your team members in a disadvantaged position.

Upgrad Player Traits

In EA SPORTS FC™ EMPIRES, the only way to level up players is by having them participate in matches. Players gain experience (Exp) even if you lose a match. However, there's another way to enhance player performance—traits. Below the player's star count, you can see their traits. Players up to silver rarity have only one trait, but gold and above players have more than one. If you acquire a higher rarity player, visit the player section and equip additional traits in their slots.

Once equipped, click on the trait you want to upgrade. You can increase the power of the traits by feeding them Exp badges or badges from level one players. This ensures your players reach their full potential and contribute significantly to your team's success.
