Kafka‘s banner will be the second banner - available for 21 days after the Blade Banner and lasting until the end of the update patch. This banner will feature the 5* character Kafka and the brand new 4* characters Luka, the 4* Sampo and Serval .

Blade

Blade is a Wind Elemental Character that follows the path of Destruction with extremely powerful skill kit and damage potential, allowing him to deal massive amounts of damage to single target enemies and occasionally deal massive amounts of AOE damage to all enemies. In addition, Blade’s special gimmick lies in his ability to sacrifice a certain amount of his own HP in order to strengthen his skill’s effects and damage, further enhancing his damage to his enemies.

Blade’s main damage source and gimmick lies in his special skill effect which immediately sacrifices 30% of his HP in order to grant him a special effect that enhances his normal attack and enhances the damage of his normal attack. Blade’s skill won’t give him any energy points in exchange for immediately granting him an extra turn after using the skill.

Additionally, Blade’s Talent allows him to gain special stack whenever he takes damage, either by enemies’ attacks of by the effect of his own skill. Once he has gained 5 stacks of his talent, he will deal a massive follow up attack to all enemies, with the damage increased proportional to the damage he has taken during the charging period.

Finally, Blade’s ultimate unleash a massive Single Target hit that deals a large amount of damage instantly and set his HP to 50%, allowing him to deal more damage with his talent.

Kafka

Kafka is a 5* Lightning Character that follows the path of Nihility, her main gimmick focuses on applying and amplifying special Damage Over Time (DoT) debuffs on enemies, dealing massive amounts of damage to them whenever they take their turn and in turn allow her to quickly deal with enemies before they can act.

Kafka’s skill allows her to deal damage to 1 enemy in her way, dealing a moderate amount of Lightning Elemental damage to them. If the enemy have allies adjacent to them, they will take 25% of the skill’s damage as well. The main strong point of this skill lies in its ability to deal extra damage to enemies with DoT debuffs, immediately dealing 100% of the debuff’s damage as instant damage.

Kafka’s Ultimate skill allows her to deal damage to all enemies in her way, applying the special Shocked effect to all enemies. This Shocked debuff will stay on the enemies and deal up to 70% of Kafka’s attack stat every turn over time.

When paired with the right teammate that inflicts enemies with DoT debuffs, Kafka will become a monster of a damage dealer, dealing massive amounts of damage proportional to the amounts of DoT debuffs on all enemies while applying her own debuffs on them.

Luka

Luka is a 4* Physical Damage Character that follows the path of Nihility with heavy emphasis on inflicting enemies with the DoT debuff Bleed and dealing massive amounts of Break damage to enemies with his physical attacks.

Luka’s main damage relies on his talent and his normal attacks. Luka’s talent will grant him a special stack buff everytime he attacks an enemy or uses his skill, which, when reaching a certain amount of stacks, will enhance his normal attacks. Luka’s normal attacks will deal up to 4 instances of physical damage to a single enemy, dealing extra damage to enemies inflicted with the Bleed debuff.

Luka’s skill and ultimate allows him to inflict the enemies with the Bleed DoT and gain the special talent stacks in addition to having a chance to further enhance his damage potential and the amounts of damage he can deal using the Ultimate and his Normal attacks.

Blade VS Kafka Banners - Who Should You Pull For

4 Stars Characters

In terms of the 4* Characters presented for Blade and Kafka banners, it is important to note that of all the 4*s up for grab and is rate up on either banner, Kafka clearly have the better set of 4*s helping her banner as not only are they extremely powerful character by themselves, by rolling on Kafka’s banner, players will also get the 4* characters that will immensely aid Kafka in her play style and further enhance her own damage output when paired with the characters.

As for blade banner’s 4* selections, they are admittedly less appealing then Kafka banner’s as they are quite plain and do not help Blade in any way as allies. So in terms of 4* characters, players should go for Kafka’s banner.

Blade VS Kafka

When comparing these 2 5* Limited characters to determine which one players should roll for, it is important to note that while both are extremely powerful Damage dealers, they each serve different roles and different playstyles.

If players are keen on characters with pure damage output and the ability to sweep enemies instantly with all by himself, then Blade is the best choice possible with his high damage output by himself with little to no support needed. However, with Blade, players will need to have the ability to manage his HP and have a way to mitigate the damage he takes in order to keep him alive while at low HP to deal massive amounts of damage.

If players are more keen on dealing damage and inflicting DoT debuffs on enemies and more AOE oriented damage dealer, then Kafka is more beneficial to have. However, Kafka relies heavily on enemies having different DoT debuffs, so having a team to support her is extremely crucial to help her reach her full potential.
