Let’s play NU:Carnival on PC and find out together!
Like other Limited Time events in NU:Carnival, Forest Carnival is a big event that spans a total of 6 weeks, making it one long event that is divided into 3 different parts for players to partake in, with each part having different battle stages and mechanics. The first part will be available right away while the 2nd and 3rd part will gradually be unlocked as time goes by. In addition, the event also rewards players through 2 different reward mechanics : Points Ladder and Puzzles.
The main thing players need to clear and the main mechanic of the event, during the event’s duration, special event exclusive story stages and farming stages that players would need to clear in order to complete the event.
Story Stages only display special event exclusive stories, clearing them will reward players with 100 crystals each. Players need to complete the story stages before they can gain access to the rest of the event’s mechanics and especially the farming stages. The first part of the event’s farming stages.
Farming stages are divided into 10 different stages and each stage provides different amounts of event currencies in addition to event points to help players both complete the special points ladder function and the special Puzzle mechanic.
It is important for players to attempt to clear the hardest farming stage at least once with bonus allies, allowing them to record their highest possible event bonus in order to be able to skip the stages using skip tickets, allowing them to obtain the event currencies and points more effectively and is less time consuming.
The main rewarding function of the event, the point ladder consists of different amounts of rewards for different milestones on the point ladder, up to a total amount of 60000 points.
The rewards given from the points ladder consist mainly of different character upgrading materials, coins, intimacy gifts, EXP bottles and other currencies that are important for players to obtain to further strengthen their team’s potential and advance further in the game.
The most important rewards that can be obtained from the points ladder includes Gems ( the premium currencies in the game), up to a total of 30 summoning scrolls (= to 30 pulls for different banners) and 1 special Crystal that is important to upgrade characters to 5*s.
It is important to note that points are extremely hard to obtain in this event, with each hardest farming stage only giving 100-ish points at 50% points bonus, meaning players will need to spend a large amount of stamina in order to obtain all of the event’s rewards.
In addition to the points ladder system, a special event exclusive mechanics is also available for all players to attempt to clear in order to obtain all of the rewards from the event.
The Puzzles are divided into 3 different puzzles, each requires a certain amount of event specific currencies be spent in order to unlock special tiles on the puzzle in order to obtain specific rewards from those tiles. Rewards range from summoning scrolls, gems, character upgrading materials, intimacy items and other event exclusive rewards.
A puzzle has a total of 20 tiles, with each tile requiring different amounts of event currencies be spent in order to unlock it. The higher the title’s rewards are, the higher amounts of event currencies are required to unlock it. After clearing all 20 tiles, players will also receive a special completion reward and a special event exclusive image to keep to commemorate the event.
Players should prioritize spending event currencies on tiles that contain the summoning scrolls and gems in order to maximize their gains from these puzzles.
With the special Forest Carnival Exclusive Event, 2 brand new event exclusive character cards have been released for a limited time - the SSR Afternoon Daze Kuya and SSR Spring Chaos Edmond.
Afternoon Daze Kuya is a SSR Debuffer classed character with the ability to not only increase the damage dealt to enemies, but also inflict damage over time damage and stacks his debuffs constantly on the enemies.
Afternoon Daze Kuya’s normal attacks allows him to deal a moderate amount of damage to one enemy, however, he will also inflict a damage over turns debuffs on the enemy which can stack with each normal attack made by Kuya, gradually stacking and increase the burn damage with each turn passive, allowing him to gradually take down even the most defensive enemies before him.
Afternoon Daze Kuya’s main strong point, however, lies in his ultimate skill which inflicts 15% defense down debuff onto the enemy before dealing 250% of his attack power to the enemy, dealing massive amounts of damage. In addition, Kuya will gain special state where for each attack he lands, he will inflict 1 stack of defense down by 15% to the enemy that lasts 2 turns and can be stacked on top of each others, making the enemy take an immense amount of damage from Kuya himself and other allies with him.
Spring Chaos Edmond is a Defender class SSR card with the ability to focus and tank oncoming damage in place of other allies, for as long as the enemy deals single target damage, he will be able to redirect the attack to himself and tank the attack thanks to his guard status.
Edmond’s normal attack deals a minimal amount of damage to 1 enemy. However, once he has made his attack, Edmond will apply the Guard state and Taunt status on himself for 1 turn, meaning that all single target attacks from the enemy for that turn will be redirected to him, allowing him to tank all incoming damages from enemies in place of important allies. This can be an extremely strong shield to protect your teams from dangerous enemies and boss monsters.
Edmond’s ultimate skill further helps him survive the barrage of damage from the enemy, as it allows him to deal 1 hit damage equal to 100% of his attack and make the enemy deal 10% less damage for 3 turns. In addition, Edmond himself will receive 5% (max 2 stacks) less damage for 2 turns and receives a turn by turn heal in order to help him survive lethal damage from the enemy.
Yes, you should. Not only does NU:Carnival’s event last long and thus gives players the chance to accumulate rewards in order to obtain good SSRs, the SSRs currently on rate up are perhaps the best characters in their archetypes and classes.
Kuya’s ability to completely shred the enemy’s defense allows him to help the entire team’s damage output and maximizes the team’s offensive potential.
Meanwhile, Edmond’s constant tank and taunt ability allows him to tank all damage from the enemy and prevents the enemy from actually taking out other allies, maximizing the team’s defensive potential.
These two are extremely powerful and should absolutely be obtained in order to help the players in the game’s harder contents.
As NU:Carnival is extremely difficult to install on Mobile devices, it is highly recommended that players play the game on PC as an alternative.
LDPlayer is the perfect emulator to play NU:Carnival on as it not only allows the game to run on 120 FPS and high graphics option, allowing you to enjoy every scene in the game as best as possible. In addition, the video recording function allows you to savor every moment in the game to replay whenever you want.
