Despite being an old game (released in 2016) Valiant Force has conquered the hearts of a lot of people. After some years, XII Braves is trying to bring people who loved Valiant Force a new game, called Project V! Set in the world of Valiant Force and featuring the same old Characters (Veterans will remember Shizu, Emilia, Jenny etc.) this new game is a sort of remake for the original Valiant Force, bringing back all the feels for the first title. The core feature for the game is the “Aura System'', a strategic and complex feature that lets you combo your attack based on your character's position, roles and elements!
Content
Project V is a newly developed Strategic Grid-Based RPG from XII Braves, the creators of Valiant Force and it’s set in the same world. The game features 6 different base classes (Guardian, Champion, Shadow, Mystic, Healer and Ranger) , any of them with a Job System, with a total of 36 advanced Jobs, letting you create the perfect team of your choice. The game also has an unique system called “Aura”, that lets you create incredible combos between your characters based on their grid position, element and class. The game offers different content, from Campaign, to Events, PvP and much more!
The “Campaign” is the Main story content in Project V. The Campaign is very important for the game, since it is the only game mode you can play before reaching chapter 4, unlocking Event and PvP. During Campaign you can complete stages (Normal & Heroic) and if you achieve the stage star requirements, you can also obtain precious rewards, such as Job Relic, Gear, Gold and much more. The Campaign is also your main source for Gear in the early game, and advancing in campaign will unlock any other content in the game, such as Airship, Events, PvP and any feature to increase your characters Combat Power, Gear Power etc. All campaign stages can be completed instantly after you achieve 3 Stars with the “Express” function, only costing you stamina.
The “Arcanorum” is the first Daily Dungeon content you will unlock playing Campaign. In the Arcanorum you will fight waves of weak monsters (Running books) and you must kill as much as you can to get Exp items. You are limited to 3 entry x day, and after you finish a stage with 3 stars for the first time, you can use “Express” for instantly complete it
The “Forgotten Mines” is the second daily dungeon you will unlock playing Campaign. Similar to the Arcanorum, you will fight weak waves of enemies (Rocks) and must destroy them before the turn reaches the limits, rewarding you with a lot of Golds. Same as Arcanorum you are limited to 3 entries x day, and can also use “Express” once you achieve 3 stars.
The “Ariship” is your “Headquarters” in Project V. The more you progress in the Campaign, the better your Airship will be. The Airship gives you a lot of different features, here’s some you unlock early in the game:
A lot more feature will be unlocked while playing the game, and prolly even more in the official game release
The “Event - Liquid Gold” is unlocked after you complete Chapter 4 stage 5. Is the first Event released in Project V for the Closed Beta, and features a Event Story of 5 stages (Normal & Heroic) with different kinds of rewards, such as Character Hero Shards and SR Gear. You can collect Boss Ticket and Box Summon Ticket while playing the Event Mission, and exchange them for Event goodies.
The “Arena” is the first PvP content in Project V, and it’s being unlocked after you complete Chapter 4 Stage 9. In The Arena you can both “Practice” battle if you don’t wanna risk your point, and “Vs” if you wanna climb the Arena Ladder. The fights are not in real time, and you will fight other players both in offense (Vs Ai) and defense (AI Controlled). You can only fight 3 times x Day in Arena (you can also recharge entry with 600 gems) and after every match you will be rewarded with Red Gems (based on your Arena match score). You can spend Red Gems in the Arena shop for Hero Shards, Relics, Hero Shards Selector and more. You will also get Gems (Summon Currency) every week based on your Arena Rank and Special Rewards after the Season ends.
The “Aura System” is the Core feature for Project V. With the Aura, you will be able to unleash very complex combos, resulting in a great advantage for your team both in PvE and PvP Content.
How does the “Aura System” work?
Every character features from 1 to 3 different Directions Arrows (based on Characters Stars Rarity and Development) with also a character color (Right-Up Square in the character icon).
If a Character matches another one with the direction arrow, a reaction will be triggered if the condition is fulfilled (Ex: Victoria will activate her Aura with 50% chance after being healed, increasing the PDEF of any linked character).
If the character also matches the color, a combo reaction will be triggered, unleashing more Aura reactions for chaining Aura effects. When you proc Aura, you will get Auron Card Point, and after you reach the right number, you can use Auron Cards, letting you unleash powerful heals, damage or buffs and debuffs on the battlefield.
Every Character in Project V can be developed for being very useful, despite being R grade or SSR. Let’s analyze every Character aspect.
