Punishing: Gray Raven is a popular online, free-to-play 3D action role-playing mobile game developed by Kuro Game. The game has gained a lot of traction in recent times due to different things. The graphics, characters, and stories are phenomenal and keep players engaged for hours upon hours.
The game's story is centered around the post-apocalyptic world environments that corrupted cybernetic enemies occupy. These cybernetic enemies are infected by the virus called "Punishing." You lead your squad, known as the gray raven, to fight against the enemies so that you can retake the planet.
There are many different characters in the game that allow you to enjoy different playstyles. One such character is Bianca. This character is enjoyed by many players and is incredibly fun to use due to the cool attacks and abilities that she has. You can even get her for free. So, we are going to be talking about Bianca a little bit today.
As we mentioned, Bianca is a free-to-play character. In fact, she can be unlocked as a 7-day login reward. Make sure to get her, as she is incredibly fun to play with. There are different versions of characters in the game released at other times. Of course, the same concept applies to Bianca. Your login reward provides you with the A rank, Bianca – so be sure to get her as soon as you can.
Bianca is a ranged shooter, as you may have guessed with her description. Her abilities and attacks surround the idea of her being able to conjure up electrical charges. She can then use these electrical charges as arrows and shoot them, damaging anything in her path.
These dangerous arrows should not be messed with at all. Bianca is truly a force to be reckoned with.
Shoots out 1/2/3 arrows, each dealing 100/200/300(200/400/600)% of physical damage. This orb ability is truly powerful and can let out great amounts of damage. Each arrow does a different part of damage based on a percentage. It's a rapid-fire attack and can be pretty potent in a battle.
Shoots out 5/5/7 of energy arrows, each dealing 15/30/45(30/60/90%) of physical damage. Recovers 1/2/3 energy for every hand landed. This ability is more important because it provides you with energy recovery. Energy is a critical part of fighting in punishing gray ravens, as you need to use your ultimate ability. With your energy being recovered and given to you more often, you increase the frequency with which you can use your ultimate. This makes Bianca a fun character to use.
Charges up your bow. Every basic attack has 1/2/3 additional arrows, up to 7/20/42 arrows. Each different arrow deals 10/20/30(20/40/60%) of physical damage, lasts for 4/6/8 seconds. This ability pretty much spams arrows and is a nuisance for your enemies during battle. Careful use of the blue orb makes it very dangerous to be used against your enemies during battles and fights.
Pairing this up appropriately with other abilities, such as her actives that we will talk about soon, makes her a very dangerous opponent.
There are several active abilities, just like other characters, that Bianca has. One power that stands out from most others is her ultimate, as we will look into shortly.
Fire 9 arrows rapidly, dealing a total of 290(580)% of physical damage. This is not too peculiar. It is a normal basic attack that does a fair amount of damage. As you can see by now, Bianca has a lot of burst potential. This is an aspect of her that makes her a tough opponent If she is used correctly.
It consumes 60 energy to release a barrage of arrows onto an area, each arrow dealing 100(200)% of physical damage. This is her ultimate attack. You may have observed something a little different about this right off the bat. You can see that the energy required for this signature ability is 60. In contrast, it is normally 100 or around that value for most other characters. So, the frequency with which you can use this signature ability increases as a result.
We talked earlier about how the yellow orb recovers energy for Bianca. This is why that ability is amazing on Bianca – it further increases her likelihood of using her ultimate. This ultimate is more of a single target damage ability. When you play Bianca, you will realize that it does not do as much spread-out damage. Please keep this in consideration when trying to use her in a battle, as it is important to know the merits and range that your character has to best use them.
Bianca leaps into the sky and shoots five arrows onto the target consecutively, with each dealing 30(60)% of physical damage. Each hand that is discharged is guaranteed to be a critical hit. This ability is a rather interesting one.
You probably notice a flashing light on some characters at the top-right where you can swap them. If you click on Bianca when she is flashing, she drops in and does her QTE ability – and then disappears. This is a really fun way to swap characters and use their skills, making her versatile to play with. Although. Some players tend to get a little disoriented with changing characters when this happens, so keep in mind these mechanics when you end up using this feature in battle.
The class-specific damage is not all that unique. It provides Bianca with a damage buff of 10%. The awakening ability, however, is cool. The awakening ability provides Bianca with three signal orbs as she steps into battle. If you use the player correctly, these can go a long way for you in the competition. You can unlock this Awakening later on, but when you do, it is worth it.
These awakenings give you a decent advantage at the start of the battle. Capitalizing on them to get ahead is a good thing and can be done effectively.
The first and most important passive ability that Bianca possesses is her core passive ability. With this passive ability, every 3-orb combo forms a specially charged arrow that she can stack up to six times. These arrows are then released as she uses her ultimate ability, hitting the opponent even harder.
We also need to look at her leadership ability. The leader's ability increases the critical damage of all the characters by 10%. This is a nice boost and does wonders for you in battle.
The other passive abilities can be unlocked later on and are essentially stat upgrades. So, her first passive increases basic attack damage by 15% - not too shabby. Her second passive increases critical attack damage by 30%, whereas her third and final passive increases her ultimate damage by 20%
We can see that Bianca is a neatly designed character with several things that she has to offer. Her playstyle is very dynamic as a result of these active and passive abilities, as well as the orbs. Her passives provide really powerful boosts to her, even if they do not look like something extraordinary.
Now that you have a basic idea about what Bianca can do in a battle, you should also know the basics of her combos and how you should be playing her.
Whenever you are using Bianca, the main goal is that you need to get as many 3-orb combos or "3-pings" as mentioned in the game. As discussed above, this stacks a special arrow for your ultimate ability that releases all of them for one powerful attack. Doing this regularly allows you to have them stacked up for use.
You have to remember to time some of her abilities, such as the yellow orb, properly. The yellow orb ability has more spread damage, so you need to try and hit as many of them as possible. Doing this recovers energy for you, allowing you to use your stacked up (hopefully) ultimate in battle. This becomes fun to do in battles.
When you are up against harder enemies, it becomes important that you dodge as well. Dodging, as you may know by now, is a vital part of Punishing Gray Raven. You can even clear stages by learning how to dodge properly and evade hits that can seriously bring down your health.
So, time your dodges appropriately and make sure that you're avoiding incoming damage from your opponents. At the same time, you need to learn how to focus on attacking your different targets between these dodges.
Do not rely on many of your abilities to spread damage, as Bianca is more of a single target damage-based player. This makes her powerful in terms of shredding down different enemies and opponents and winning her battles. As it goes without saying, never ignore your basic attacks. There are cases where some players will ignore their basic attacks and focus instead on their abilities and orbs. This does not work at all for the way that Bianca is designed, as does it not for many other characters in the game. So, make sure you consistently hit your basic attacks on your targets in between abilities and dodges.
With the right timing of all of these different components to Bianca, you will be a genuine threat on the battlefield. Of course, it does take a little bit of practice to utilize her abilities in the best way possible truly. If you follow these very basic guidelines, you will get there in no time.
The design of her skillset is what gives her the title of a boss-slayer. Bianca is really fun to use in boss fights as her single target damage abilities can help shred the boss's health or tough components. She can effectively take them on and guarantee a victory for you if she is played with just a little bit of attention. On the other hand, Bianca is not the best for situations where you need an Area of Effect (AoE) to damage opponents. You would be far better off choosing other characters to get through these situations; since regardless of the amount of damage she provides, her AoE is poor and will not bring anything to the table for you.
Nonetheless, she is an excellent character to use for boss fights for the reasons mentioned above – making her an incredibly viable choice to have on your roster. Everyone should definitely try out this free-to-play Bianca.
Bianca is a powerful ranged, single-target based character. Her unique set of abilities make her a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield. Now that we have gone through the fundamentals of her skills and the basic notions of how you should make use of her in battle – you should be able to have a great time playing her. When you follow the simple steps we outline in this article, you will make sure she lives up to her name of being a boss-slayer.
Just make sure to practice the timings on her abilities and understand where different ones will be useful. If you enjoy playing characters that can shred single opponents, then she is a great pick. If you're looking for someone with more of an area of effect damage kit, then you are better off choosing other characters.
