News and Guides for DQ Dai: A Hero’s Bonds

DQ Dai: A Hero's Bonds Guide To Understand the game story and tutorial

Dragon Quest Dai: A Hero's Bonds is a thrilling new action-adventure game from Square Enix available for mobile devices. The game is inspired by the highly acclaimed manga series, which has been regarded as a masterpiece in Japan and other parts of Asia.    Mobile users now have access to the Dragon Quest game and can relive the legend of the adventure of Dai on the palm of their hands in this new and exciting remake that has been gently optimized for the mobile platform.    Players can test their reflexes in exciting team actions, take control of 3 characters and go up against challenging enemies, upgrade equipment, magic and weapons to allow you easily defeat your enemies. Most of all, they can experience the vibrant and colorful art style of the Dragon Quest universe in this action-packed adventure.    Getting through the game's long but fun tutorial     DQ Dai starts off with an interesting tutorial that existing fans of the Dragon Quest universe will enjoy. While some players would prefer to skip past tutorials, most players will see this one out until the end as it only gets interesting.    Players can decide to start off the game by logging in or playing as a guest; it depends on how far you plan on going and how much time you have to spend on the game. Logging in to one of the social networks or Google Play Games helps keep your progress safe, but if you decide to play as a guest, your progress is saved locally on your device and is lost if you uninstall the game or lose your device.    Will you be a Luminary or a Leader?     After choosing the name you'd like to go with, you'll be slightly briefed of a journey ahead of you through the memories of heroes, where you'll form certain bonds with them by all by experiencing their battles. However, this is something that only a Luminary Leader possesses.    A pop-up will appear afterward, prompting you to choose between becoming a Luminary or Luminary Leader. Becoming a Luminary Leader is recommended. After choosing your preferred role, you'll embark on your first journey, the first path of the hero Dai.    Learning the game controls from your teacher 'Avan'     Avan is considered one of the most powerful characters in DQ Dai, and you will be learning a couple of moves from him before discovering your own special abilities. The first parts of your training will show you the game's basic controls and against less powerful enemies.    At this time, you only have two special abilities at your disposal – Earth Slash and Wave Slash. Earth Slash causes more damage to enemies and bosses and can be used to counterattack bosses that are about to unleash a heavy attack on you. Wave Slash, on the other hand, despite causing a bit of damage, cannot be used to counter enemy attacks and does not do much damage to enemies like the Earth Slash.    Players can slide up to move closer to an enemy and engage them; you can also slide left or right to where the enemy might be and engage them from each angle. If an enemy is about to damage you, you can slide your fingers back to evade the attack. A red-colored radar-like signal on the floor will let you know when an enemy is about to attack, which prepares you to avoid the attack.      The tutorial was going well until your teacher turned into a huge red dragon and challenges you to a fight. You learn an important skill here which is blocking. You can block an enemy's attack by pressing and holding the screen until the block appears, which usually takes seconds. But it doesn't last forever as enemy attacks can break your magic block if held for long or if the enemy is incredibly powerful.      During battles, the game also has a barrier that doesn't allow players to move too far out of the battlefield. You can evade but not too far, and you can march forward to attack an enemy, but you can't really get too close.   Using your special abilities Earth Slash and Wave Slash aren't the only special abilities you possess. They're more like the ones that come easy and the ones you always start a fight with. More powerful special attacks will appear in matches at several points, and you can use them against enemies as you did with Avan.      After your training with Avan, Hadlar, the dark commander, has re-emerged and claims to have been resurrected by another known as The Dark King. Avan then givers you his Insignia, which is a sign that a student has successfully graduated. Knowing that Hadlar will be too powerful for you to stop, he decides to battle the dark commander himself.      Avan fought well and gave his life trying to protect his students, but Hadlar somehow survived Avan's powerful blast that was meant to kill him. Your character, Dai, must now take it upon himself to avenge his teacher and protect his home.    Dai decides to battle Hadlar, where you will get to use one of your special abilities to counter his powerful attacks. Using Avan's special move against Hadlar, Dai was able to defeat the dark commander for now.      Embarking on your quest Hadlar notices a brimming symbol on Dai's forehead, which he calls the Dragon's Symbol. Dai himself knows very little of his many abilities and must embark on a quest to learn more about his inescapable fate alongside Popp, a dear friend whom they trained together under Avan.      As Dai realizes that a new crisis is facing the world, he makes a promise to avenge his mentor as he embarks on a quest to learn more about his abilities, make new friends, face new enemies, and ultimately become more powerful to try and stop the Dark King and become a true hero.    Conclusion This beginner's guide for starters is meant to help players understand the characters and the game's story that showcases the protagonist's purpose for what's to come. The main adventure commences after Dai has embarked on his adventure.

DQ Dai: A Hero's Bonds Gameplay and Character Unlocking Guide

Dragon Quest Dai: A Hero's Bond is the latest installment of the Dragon Quest games from Square Enix on mobile devices, and in this article, we'll be giving you the guide to unlocking characters and getting you up to speed in the gameplay.    So without wasting any more time, let's kick off our DQ Dai guide that we hope you gain a lot from.    Unlock as many characters as possible     There are a lot of characters to unlock in DQ Dai, and there are special ones you can unlock by going through the Play Guide. After completing certain episodes, you will unlock more characters and recruit them to your team. Some of these characters possess special abilities that you will want to have on your team.    All you need to unlock these characters is to clear the indicated episodes mentioned in the Play Guide.    Build a formidable team     You have to put in extra effort to build a powerful team that will see you dominate enemies on the battlefield. Starting out, there are characters that you don't need to worry about unlocking, such as Dai. You will go through the game's tutorial with Dai and come out of it with the character as well.    Some of the most powerful characters to aim for are Maam, a free unit that you can recruit to your team after completing the 8th episode of the Bonding Journey. Avan is also a free-to-play unit that is no stranger to you, as you've met him from the game tutorial. To recruit him, you'll have to clear the Avan event to get him right away. Then Zennosh, another powerful character that you can recruit at the early stages of the game.    Equip your characters with the best equipment     In order to get the best out of your characters, you will have to equip them with the best equipment ahead of every battle. Using powerful equipment gives their stats real boosts on the battlefield. Failing to use equipment in battle will see your characters suffer in the hands of enemies on the battlefield.    Additionally, equipping weapons and other things isn't enough. Remember that upgrading these equipment is also a very important part of the game. They will not be very efficient if you don't upgrade them, even if you equip them for battle. You can upgrade your items from the Upgrade section in the game. We recommend setting the upgrade to Auto, which lets the game automatically upgrade an item for you.    Weapons are not the only upgradable equipment either; you have to upgrade your armor, your pants, and your clothes as some clothes possess better blocking and can resist enemy attacks than most. As you reach higher levels in the game, you get to a point where you will no longer need level 1 tier weapons or clothes, so in this case, you can select all you don't need and sort of merge or scrap them for Bronze Weapon Fragments which you can use to get special items from the Weapons Exchange. It is also another way to upgrade your character's skills and equipment.   Bonding Halo and Ally Boards     The Bonding Halo lets you equip soul crystals. They are materials that will allow your character to have increased performance on the battlefield due to the bonding boost you will get afterward. Depending on the character you're using, it is better to bond them with corresponding soul crystals.    For instance, if you're using a physical unit, it is better to have items that will boost the defense. You can equip up to 3 soul crystals, and you can have them be of the same element so they can be of high resonance.      Ally Boards, on the other hand, are also relevant. For avid gamers, this is not a new feature. Ally Boards helps you upgrade your stats and get you new traits that can be quite helpful as it improves your character's overall efficiency. Players can also get new rank up from Ally Boards which allows them to rank up to higher levels.    The Ally Board is important in ranking up your characters; otherwise, they will remain stuck at a particular level for an extended period of time. So it is best to keep on unlocking more and more boards until there's pretty much nothing left to unlock from the Ally Board.    Vocation Changing      Change Vocation or Vocation Changing is switching from one cast to another. You can switch from Hero to Warrior or Hero to Maze or Hero to Priest. Each cast has its respective levels. If your Hero character is at level 10, for instance, and you decide to switch to a Priest cast, you will be penalized for the switch and brought all the way back to level 1.    You'd also have to equip all equipment all over again, but there's also an auto equip button that you can help you Auto equip the best items for each cast. Hero cast is the best because you get to be an all-rounder with decent defense and offense. Warriors are prone to taking hits and retaliating with high attacks of their own. Mages are magical maestros adept at attacks from the back ranks that affect wide areas. And finally, we have Priests; they are healers that provide support for other team members.    After carefully choosing the vocation you wish to play with, you can then equip your skill and special moves. These cannot be set automatically and needs to equip manually. So depending on the vocation you choose to play with, that will decide the special move and skills you choose to use in battle that will be most effective.    Choosing your main character and ally     You can have a total of four players in a team, but you can only have two playable characters on the battlefield, with the first being the leader while the second can act as your partner or ally. You can use these characters in battle, like switching between them against enemies, giving you an advantage on the battlefield.    The remaining two characters left out of battle act as supporting characters or sidekicks in your team. They're necessary and can be helpful as they can automatically use their skills if necessary. And if you wish to partner up with one of them instead, you can just click on them and set them as your partner. You should always partner up with powerful characters as you will control them and manually put their abilities to use on the battlefield.

DQ Dai: A Hero's Bonds Reroll Guide to get Avan Sword and Dais Sword

DQ Dai has been making the headlines on many publications lately as fans of the hugely popular Dragon Quest universe are excited to finally get their hands on A Hero's Bond for mobile devices.    The game lets you control Dai, the protagonist who has taken it upon himself to avenge his teacher Avan and bring peace to the world by defeating the Dark King.    Players have been requesting guides on many aspects of this game that'll either help them rank higher, get powerful characters, equipment or just rank up more often. So in this article, we'll be giving you a Reroll guide to DQ Hai that'll help you get fine equipment and characters.    First off, you shouldn't straight up bind your account to Google or Apple at the start of the game. Playing as a guest is a right way to go if you want to Reroll amazingly in this game. Afterward, you'll have to go through the fun game tutorial before getting to the game's main screen, where you'll have access to dozens of stuff in the game's menu screen.    Reroll is highly advised as a beginner in this game because you can get cool rewards like the Avan sword and many other types of equipment. Getting even one of the equipment after Reroll will enable you to keep your account and enjoy playing the game altogether.    So after concluding the game's tutorial and have accepted all daily rewards, you can now have total control of the game, which is when you can start the Reroll.    Reroll rewards you should aim for     In Reroll, players don't aim to get characters or equipment such as clothes and pants; instead, Reroll is an opportunity to get top-tier weapons of 4-star grade. Some of the best weapons you should aim for are; Shadow Armour Blade and Knife of Papnica, Avan's Sword, Lightening Lance, Vortex Axe, Staff of Gald Tidings, and Magical Booster. These are some of the most powerful 4-star grade weapons that are worth Rerolling for in this game.    There's a 3% chance of getting a 4-star tier grade weapon, a 22% chance of getting a 3-star grade weapon, and lastly, you have a 75% chance of getting a 2-star grade weapon. If you want to know the particular weapon you should aim for, you simply have to watch the auto-playing video playing on-screen on the Treasure Hunt page, which shows Dai's Knife of Papnica (Sun) Avan's Sword.   Dai and Avan are the two best characters in the game that you can easily get in your team if you're just starting out, and even after playing to a considerably high level, each of them will still be quite formidable as long as you upgrade them well.    Checking the stats of the featured weapons before Reroll     One of the things you need to do before Reroll is checking the stats of the weapons you want. Dai's Knife of Papnica (Sun) has a lot of physical damage with a level 3 Sword Trait and slash damage of 15%. Despite being a negative aspect of this weapon, the cooldown time doesn't really take anything from it once you look at the Might, allowing you to easily defeat a boss.     On the other hand, Avan's sword deals long-range attacks over a small area by Inflicting piercing physical damage. And while its Might of 8,715 does not compare to Dai's of 11k plus, Avan's Sword has better cool down refresh time which means you can use it several times in a single battle. Both swords are good, but Avan's sword will help you end a battle faster with its quick cooldown refresh rate.    It can be hard to get 3-4 star grade weapons     It's easy to stare at the weapons and just see yourself using them on the battlefield, but it can be quite hard to actually get them after Reroll. There are two options to Reroll; you can Reroll for 350 gems or 3,000 gems. The 350 gems option guarantees fewer rewards of just a box or two, and while the 3,000 gem option doesn't guarantee a 3-4 star grade weapon, it does tend to reward you with better items than the 350 gems option.   How to Reroll? Reroll is for everyone, but only players who pre-registered for the game will be rewarded with thousands of gems up to 4,000, which they can instantly put to use after completing the game's tutorial. The 10k draw gives you 10 boxes that cost 3,000 gems. And since you will be rerolling for weapons, you will always aim for 4-star grade weapons. 3-star grade weapons aren't all bad, but having 4-star grade weapons gives a massive edge over your enemies in battle.   How to Reroll the Fast by Using LDPlayer?  As we all know, the usual steps for rerolling take so much time. To avoid this issue, you can use the emulator LDPlayer and have several rerolls at once. Follow these steps:   Download LDPlayer and Install it onto your PC Install the emulator and then download DQ Dai: A Hero's Bonds on its store Install DQ Dai: A Hero's Bonds After you have installed the game, don't try to open it at first. Open the LDMultiplayer Tool and select to coy emulator. Copy as much as emulators you like, and you can do many depending on your PC's hard disk space. Open all these clones emulators and click the Feature Synchronizer. Select your all clones and start syncing By syncing, you will be able to start the game through all those copied emulators. Start the game and follow the rerolling steps. Clearing the data, reenter your game, create a new account, and follow those reroll steps.     The main purpose of Reroll     If you did not get any top-tier weapon of 3-4 star grade after spending all your gems, you can simply erase the game data and start over. Yes, you can actually do that. If you want to erase the data, head to the title screen, exit the game, open it again, and you'll see a title screen where you can tap to start the game.   There's a button on the lower-right corner of the game where you will see a menu button on this screen. After tapping on the button, you will see several options pop up; below; you'll find the option to erase the game's data. After clicking it, you'll be asked to confirm erase. Erasing will wipe all existing progress that you've made as a guest player.   However, if you were lucky enough to spend your gems on the Reroll and won a 4-star grade weapon, there will be no need to clear the game data. You can rather decide to log in to either Google Play Games or Apple and save your game progress as top-tier weapons do not come easy.    Conclusion That's all for our Reroll guide to you for DQ Dai: A Hero's Bond. Rerolling isn't really necessary to enjoy this game, but if you can manage to get one of the best weapons before even starting your missions, it'll give you a head-start for a considerable amount of time. But if you're one who prefers a challenge, then you can kick off this game right away without Reroll.
