News and Guides for Nexomon: Extinction

Nexomon: Extinction Tips and Tricks

Nexomon: Extinction is a sequel to the famous game Nexomon, developed by Vewo Interactive Inc. If you're familiar with console-based Pokemon games and how their world exploration and battle system works, this would be perfect for you.   However, this game also has enjoyable themes such as breaking the fourth wall and self-awareness brought to you by a sidekick character. It brings the excitement of a classic console-based RPG game to smartphones and tablets. The game was formerly available on all platforms except mobile devices, however, it is now available on the Google Play Store and the App Store worldwide.  About Nexomon: Extinction:   Nexomon Extinction takes heavy inspiration from classic RPG games like Pokemon. Despite the fact that some components of it are fairly similar, this game has a lot of innovative and fun features. Nexomon: Extinction takes place several years after the events of the original Nexomon. Compared to the original game, there are a lot more starters and new Nexomons in this one. It opens with a backstory in which the Nexomons and humans are at odds.   This fight concludes with the introduction of "Tamers," humans who, like Pokemon trainers, collect and battle Nexomon. Even though this resolution has brought calm, many people are still unsure how long it will stay.     The game starts with you being scurried for an event that is happening outside. Once you move out of your starting room and explore the orphanage, you'll meet many new NPCs there. One of them has a cheeky line telling you to stop talking to NPCs and hurry outside. We recommend that you continue exploring because if you turn left from the main hall, you will find a storage space full of stuff that you can use on your journey.   This is the same hidden strategy in Pokemon where if you check your own PC, you'll find a Potion. Once you leave, you have to follow north and your friends do to the left and right side and you get visions to go to not go to the North one. But a rebel that the character is, they do and get attacked by a dragon. The person that warned you lets you choose one of the nine Nexomons. Even after that, you cannot defeat the dragon and your sidekick helps you go underground to safety.   After all that, you receive Nexotraps and are being taught how you can catch Wild Nexomons. Once this all is done, that's when your real journey begins. Then you can explore the world, find and gather more Nexomons, fight other Tamers, and have a good time. Tips and Tricks to play Nexomon: Extinction:   Even though the basic instructions in the game are very clear, these are a few tips and tricks that will help you in the long run.   When choosing a starter Nexomon: In the beginning, you'll be overwhelmed with choice when it comes to choosing a starter Nexomon. There are nine different nexomon, each representing every single type present in the game. You can always refer to our beginner guide when it comes to choosing a starter and learning more about them. But you shouldn't contemplate choosing which Nexomon you want, just go with whatever you feel is the best. You should not worry about never seeing or getting a chance of getting to play with other starter Nexomons again since, unlike Pokemon, you can easily catch other Nexomons from the wild. Even though all of them are listed Ultra Rare on Nexopedia, you can already find Dinja, the normal type, and Gekoko, the electric type in the very first wild Nexomon area. If you still can't decide which to choose, most of the types are very common in the game except for ghost and psychic, so go for those.     Ways to capture a Nexomon: To catch a Nexomon, we have Nexotraps available in the game, which are similar to Pokeballs. There are many different kinds of them to make it easier for you to catch a Nexomon. Another factor that you have to take in while capturing a Nexomon is food, if you feed them, you increase your chances of getting a successful capture. Always use food when capturing, it's not as easy as Pokemon in this game, the chances are very low even when it comes to the lower level Nexomons. Every Nexomon has its own favorite foods, so it's best to stock up and learn about them ahead of time. You also need to lower their HP while capturing, which is also very very important. Keep your Stamina in check: Unlike Power Points or PP in Pokemon, we have a stamina system in Nexomon: Extinction. The longer you keep using a strong move against the opponent, the faster your stamina will drain. Therefore, you need to keep an eye on the stamina bar at all times. The game lacks a warning system that alerts you when your stamina is low or if you do a move that costs more stamina than you have, forcing you to skip a move. Once a battle is over, stamina does not regenerate. It's critical that you either store up on stamina-recovering products like ether or utilize the "Zz" button on the top left and skip a round to regain stamina.   Visit the tropical island first: Before going along the main story, it is very much suggested that you go west to the optional town called Palmaya. It is said so because as you go on with the story, the Nexomons get increasingly stronger and it gets harder to configure through as smoothly as you'd expect. The tropical island that can be accessed with the help of a ferry has all 9 different starters easily available. It also has rare items like food, Secret Sauce, and many others. (Secret Sauce helps you make your food items much more powerful). Strategize in every aspect of the game: When it comes to forming a team, you're only allowed to carry 6 at once even though there are nine different elements. So always choose a team that you know would be very viable for you in future battles. Money is extremely tight in the beginning so try and save it up as much as you can. As you go on in with the main story, the game gets much more difficult and wild Nexomons and other Tamer's Nexomons get, even more, stronger, so if you find it difficult just put off playing through the main plot till you get strong enough. While you're doing that, do other small side quests and gain money and exclusives that way. But one main part of the story, the ice mine, is a must to be done since it allows you to access teleporters.   Conclusion:   This game has stunning graphics and very easy controls to play with. There is some amount of struggle when it comes to playing Nexomon: Extinction, which is always a plus when it comes to RPG, not too easy, not too difficult. If you're a massive Pokemon fan, this is the perfect game for you to play, so definitely give it a shot. Happy Gaming!

Nexomon: Extinction Review: The Good & The Bad

If you're looking for the classic Gameboy RPG experience on mobile devices, Nexomon Extinction would be a perfect option for you. Developed by Vewo Interactive Inc., this game is a sequel to the famous Nexomon game. It was already out for other PC and Nintendo Switch, but now it's also available globally on your smartphones and tablets.   You can download the game to play right now by downloading it from the Google Play Store and App Store. If you're still unsure about downloading and don't know much about the workings of the game, this game review will help you out a lot.   Nexomon: Extinction Gameplay Features:   Those who are familiar with the gameplay mechanics of Pokemon would know how this game works instantly. Nexomon: Extinction, on the other hand, isn't a pure rip-off of Pokemon; it has its own great storyline to follow, and the hint of breaking the fourth wall just adds to the fun.   The game has a total of 381 new monsters for you to capture and come across. It also has nine different types- Fire, Water, Plant, Electric, Mineral, Wind, Psychic, Ghost, and Normal type. When it comes to starter Nexomons, you can choose one of the 9 options presented to you, each of them belonging to one of the types mentioned above. Unlike Pokemon, you don't have to worry about never seeing the rest of the starters again, you can easily catch them as they're available in the wild.     As for the plotline, the events in this game are completely different from the first one since it takes place after a millennium from the original game, but are still connected. You don't have to know about the first game's story to understand the second one's as much, so don't worry about it.   Nexomon: Extinction is about a battle between Nexomons and humans that eventually leads to the rise of Tamers, the Nexomon version of Pokemon Trainers. Tamers collect Nexomons and battle alongside. In the game, we, as the main character, are orphans, and we, along with a few other orphans, are going to begin on our own quest to become Tamers.  The battle system UI is similar to that of Pokemon. You can carry only 6 Nexomons along with you on your journey. Each of the Nexomons has its own unique elements and moves. Instead of power points in this game, we have a stamina system. The more powerful the move you use, the more stamina it drains, so you must be careful.   Another feature also different from Pokemon is that every single one of the creatures has their favorite food. Food plays a big part in the game since it helps you increase the rate of catching a wild nexomon if you feed them one of their favorite foods. Nexomon can be caught with the help of Nexotraps, the Pokeball of Nexomon: Extinction universe.    My Review of Nexomon: Extinction- The good and the bad:     As you can see, we've already discussed Pokemon a few times because it's impossible to avoid. It's not a complete copy of Pokemon, but the major elements are inspired by it. And it's not the worst thing in the entire world if you add your own twist to it as they have. The graphics in this game are absolutely beautiful, the old school but not as pixelated and much more refined. The character selection is great in this game, you can be whichever gender you want or just a random creature, all up to you to choose.   The animations in the game and simple but good enough. It cannot be called an open-world game but no loading screens are going from one place to another, so that's a massive plus point. Also, the game is much more challenging compared to the Pokemon games. Fighting against other Tamers is extremely difficult, you will end up losing one or two Nexomons against them. Catching wild Nexomons isn't easy either, just lowering their HP won't get you anywhere, food is a very vital part of it.   Another plus is that the game doesn't waste your time with a lot of dialogues and cut scenes, just for a bit and then you can move on with your journey. We, as the main character, aren't really given any voice but our sidekick cat, Coco speaks on our behalf. He's a very funny character who breaks the fourth wall constantly and brings a lot of humor to the game.      But all goods come with a bad. The story in itself does not have any flaws, it's the perfect kind of intense and pulling. But some of the mechanics can get very annoying over time. The game being extremely challenging is a good and a bad thing. The bad part of it is that the moves aren't as effective as you think they would be. Even a strong move just hits for a bit and by the time you end the battle you're completely out of stamina. The stamina system is also flawed in the way that it doesn't slowly replenish as you walk around in the world, you have to use items in an attempt to completely fill the stamina bar.   The battles are exceedingly difficult, so unless you locate a rock that heals your team at every turn, you'll have to visit the healing person, their version of a Pokemon center, repeatedly just to proceed. The money is notably tight in the game so stocking up on healing items is a menace in itself. Most of your money should be spent on Nexotraps but they're also expensive which seems like a weird balance considering the amount of Nexomons you'll come across.   The map is also confusing, so you end up in a place that you were supposed to visit for the storyline later in the game. Another lacking factor being multiplayer, even though it's available on a wide variety of platforms. It would've been so much fun if it allowed us to battle with our friends.   Conclusion:   The game in itself is honestly not that bad. If you choose to ignore the bad parts, you'll actually enjoy the story. It also has the aspect of having to know someone before just randomly entering their house which adds so much depth to the characters. If you want to enjoy the beauty of Pokemon for free on your mobile devices, it is just perfect. Happy Gaming!

Nexomon Extinction Beginner's Guide

Nexomon: Extinction is an RPG game by Vewo Interactive Inc. and a sequel to the popular game Nexomon. The game was formerly available on every platform except mobile devices, however, it is now available worldwide on the Google Play Store and App Store. If you're a Pokemon fan, you'd be very familiar with this game.   But the difference is that it also has fun elements of breaking the 4th wall and self-awareness in this game. It brings the fun of a classic console-based RPG game to mobile devices. If you're planning to download the game and play it, this is the perfect beginner's guide for you!   About Nexomon: Extinction     The story events of Nexomon: Extinction takes place years after the story of the original Nexomon. Unlike the original game, there are many more starters and new Nexomon's added to the game. It takes onto the old style of the Pokemon games, the ones on GBA, and carries them out on mobile, bringing a wave of nostalgia along your way. The game begins with a backstory where a war is going on between the Nexomons and humanity.   This fight ends and introduces "Tamers," people who capture and battle alongside the Nexomon, just like Pokemon trainers. Even though this conclusion has bought peace, people still wonder how long the peace will last. The main character of this game is an orphan and you get to choose your character's skin in the character selection part and thus begin your journey of becoming a tamer.    Choosing a starter Nexomon:     As the story unfolds, you'll be faced with a dragon and you will be given a choice to choose a Nexomon from a mysterious character. There are a total of 9 possible starters to pick from, each of which belongs to one of the game's different types. It does not display the stats of the Nexomon while choosing, only the picture and its type, so referring to this guide would make your life simpler. Here's the list of all the starters:   Dinja: Normal Type Nexomon. He loves Lemon Pie, Green Pear, and Egg Tart. Dinja evolves into Dichala at level 15 and Namansi at level 32. Lume: Fire Type Nexomon. He loves Donut, Lacreme, and Lemon Pie. Lume evolves into Lumefur at level 16 and Lumerei at level 34. Noki: Water Type Nexomon. He loves Sausage, Grape, and Watermelon. Noki evolves into Vainok at level 17 and Hainok at level 36. Mara: Plant Type Nexomon. He loves Chocolate cake, Donut, and Lacreme. Mara evolves into Marasuma at level 15 and Raksuma at level 32.  Trebly: Mineral Type Nexomon. He loves Chocolate cake, Donut, and Lacreme. Trebly evolves into Treclay at level 12 and Tresaur at level 29. Mearn: Wind Type Nexomon. He loves Cream Puff, Flan, and Pandulce. Mearn evolves into Felarnia at level 17 and Yarnesty at level 36. Behlinda evolves into Heddeca at level 17 and Noocidal at level 36.   Nexomon Types and Effectiveness:     Like you could see above, there are nine different types available in the game- Normal, Fire, Water, Plant, Mineral, Wind, Electric, Psychic, and Ghost Type. Just like Pokemon, every type has its strength and weakness against each other. To make it easier for you to battle here's all of their effectiveness:   Normal:  Strengths- No Strengths Weakness- Psychic, Ghost Fire: Strengths- Wind, Plant, Ghost Weakness- Water, Mineral Water: Strengths- Fire, Mineral Weakness- Plant, Electric Plant: Strengths- Electric, Water Weakness- Wind, Fire Mineral: Strengths- Electric, Psychic, Fire Weakness- Wind, Water Wind: Strengths- Mineral, Grass Weakness- Electric, Fire Electric: Strengths- Water, Psychic, Wind Weakness- Mineral, Grass Psychic: Strengths- Normal, Ghost Weakness- Mineral, Electric Ghost: Strengths- Normal, Wind Weakness- Psychic, Fire   Nexomon Battles and catching Nexomons:     This is also another feature similar to Pokemon, but with a few extra features added to it. When it comes to battling, you can either battle against other Tamers that would be standing NPCs waiting for you to cross their sight and approach you for a battle. The battle style is similar to that of Pokemon, we have a limit of 6 Nexomons that we can use in our party. Each of them has 4 moves, and unlike Pokemon, we don't have PP or Power Points but a stamina system.   Once the stamina ends, you can't use any of your moves and it drains depending on how strong your move is, so use it wisely. You can spend one move to replenish your stamina by pressing the "Zz" icon on the top left corner. It is to be noted that stamina doesn't replenish outside of battles so you need to carry items such as ether for a quick fix.  When it comes to catching a wild nexomon, you need to walk into the wild grass which is shaking. Once you do, the battle starts. You need to lower the opponent Nexomon's HP or Health Points to catch. But that's not the only factor that will lead to a successful capture. You also need to feed the Nexomon to increase your chances of capturing it. Every Nexomon, just like the starter Nexomons, has a favorite food that can significantly help you.   Nexotraps is this game's version of Pokeball which lets you help catch the Nexomon. The difference is that it shows you all of the stats about your chances of catching the Nexomon, including what it's been fed and how much HP it has. There is also a possibility of you encountering a shiny or Cosmic Nexomon and the rates for them are as follows: Early Game- 1/4000 Mid Game- 1/3500 Late Game- 1/3000   Items in Nexomon:     Now we cannot list every single item that is present in the game since there are way too many. But there are categories of each item and we will list down what they are:   Charms - These help you to increase your catch rates or HP. There are only 3 in this category: Cosmic charm which helps increase the chances of you finding a cosmic Nexomon by 50, Healthy Charms which restores 3% of your team's HP, and Workout Charm which helps restores 3% of your team's Stamina. Special Items - These help you in your overworld needs, like a pickaxe to mine for elemental shards, Running shoes to increase your chances of running from battle, and Secret Sauce which helps you increase the chances of catching a Nexomon after feeding it by 3% more. Foods - These are various kinds of food that you can make to increase your catch rate for catching a particular Nexomon. Cores - These help you boost a specific stat of a Nexomon. There are different kinds like ATK, Exp, etc. Restoration - As the name suggests, they help you restore your HP and stamina and also cures your Nexomon of any kind of health status. Shards - These are the items you can mine with the help of a pickaxe and can be used to craft or earn coins by selling. Pets - Pets aren't items but a very cute companion to follow along your journey. Nexotraps - There are various kinds of Nexotraps with different buffs to each of them. For example, Fire Nexotrap is specially designed to capture Fire Type Nexomons. Conclusion: This is a very engaging game and brings the beauty of old-style RPG games to smartphones, with better and beautiful graphics. The lore is very deep in this game and you can dive deep into the world of Nexomon. Happy Gaming!
