Pokémon Unite, a free-to-play multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) video game, was created by TiMi Studio Group and distributed by The Pokémon Company for Android and iOS and Nintendo on the Nintendo Switch. Unlike most game genres, MOBA has quite a high learning curve and primarily relies on your skills. This is not an exception in Pokémon Unite, as ranked matchups are far more exciting than regular games. You can obtain Aeos Tickets in-game by ranking up. This article will walk you through the ranked system in Pokémon Unite and tell you how to explore and win effectively in Ranked battles. How to unlock Ranked matches in Pokémon Unite Ranked matches are locked at the start when the player first joins Pokémon Unite. Luckily, gaining access to rated matches is a painless task. Reaching level 6 and holding at least 5 pokemon unity licenses are the major prerequisites for enabling ranked matches. It may be readily attained by just playing regular matches! Throughout this period, players can earn Aeos coins, which can be used to acquire Pokémon. This method is primarily intended to provide players with the opportunity to learn about the game mechanics and Pokémon before diving into heated conflict. Overview and Rewards in Pokémon Unite Ranks Pokémon Unite has a total of 6 ranks, ranging from Beginner to Master. There are numerous classes in each of these ranks. The following is a list of ranks and their classes: Beginner: Class 1 – Class 3 Great: Class 1 – Class 4 Expert: Class 1 – Class 5 Veteran: Class 1 – Class 5 Ultra: Class 1 – Class 5 Master: Rating 0 – 99999 Players are rewarded depending on their greatest rank at the end of the season. The following is a list of the prizes at each rank: Beginner: 2000 Aeos Tickets Great: 4000 Aeos Tickets Expert: 6000 Aeos Tickets Veteran: 10000 Aeos Tickets Ultra: 15000 Aeos Tickets Master: 20000 Aeos Tickets By accomplishing a few tasks, one will also earn a seasonal prize, which is an outfit. Top 15 tips and tricks you need to remember in Pokémon Unite As a player, you must begin your adventure at the Beginner level and work your way up to the Master level. In Pokémon Unite, ranking up is a breeze. To rank up, one must win matches and earn victory points. Players in the Beginner tier will not lose-win points. Following that, players will begin to lose victory points for losing games. Listed below are 15 ideas and methods that can help a player rank up faster in Pokémon Unite and avoid losing points. 1. Held Items Held items are quite important in your gameplay, as these boost Pokémon's attack, special attacks, movement speed, and much more. When used correctly, this may dramatically enhance your gaming. 2. Battle Items Battle items provide players with additional ability. Each player can only have one combat item in every game. It is critical to understand which combat equipment is appropriate for whatever situation and the best moment to utilize it. Battle items can provide significant benefits, particularly during intense conflicts. They will be very useful if used at the right moment. 3. Practice Area It's vital to learn about the Pokémon you'll be playing with before diving into the game. To test out the Pokémon, go to the Practice area. This can assist in understanding your Pokémon. Studying the assaults, special attacks, and Unite movements will provide you with a huge advantage over your opponents. 4. Communication Pokémon Unite relies heavily on communication, and players will receive short messages when their partners are facing different circumstances. It is usually a good idea to keep the colleague up to date on your movements. It is also necessary to respond to the calls of teammates. For improved conversation, consider utilizing voice chat. If voice chat is unavailable, fast chat messages should be used to deliver their message. This might not seem much, but it could make a significant impact. 5. Play with Friends While communication may impact, random squad mates often fail to reply appropriately, and you decide that it's better to play alone. But hey, gaming with pals can improve one's communication skills. This will eventually facilitate cooperation with them! 6. Know your Pokémon In Pokémon Unite, there are five different varieties of Pokémon: Attacker: High Endurance and ranged damage Speedster: Extreme mobility, rapid assaults, and quick scoring scores All-Rounder: Endurance and offense are balanced. Defender: Greater endurance and stronger at protecting teammates and deterring attackers. Supporter: Imposing status conditions on foes while healing allies. Pokémons should be understood in terms of their strengths by the players. A defense Pokémon, for example, cannot be used to play attack. Defenders have great endurance, but their movement is sluggish. Players should always allow speedsters to carry balls to the goal since they have faster mobility and score points faster. Because an attacker lacks defense and endurance, he must be paired with another defender/all-rounder. It is preferable to team up with a Defender or an AllRounder. 7. Team Composition The majority of the players are unconcerned about the squad structure. Payers favor an Attacker or a Speedster. They are prone to focusing solely on attack and ignoring defense. An effective party should have an Attacker, a Speedster, an AllRounder, Defenders, and Supporters in an appropriate combination. Defenders and Supporters are critical members of any team during a Unite fight. If a Defender or Supporter slot becomes available, the player should take it. Not everyone can be a striker or an attacker, much like in football. Defenders are crucial because they may prevent the opposing striker from scoring. Defenders and Supports are also important in Pokémon Unite. They not only prevent opponents from scoring goals, but they also help allies by blocking enemies and assisting fellow players in collecting the balls. 8. Lanes Lanes serve as the pathways that link both sides together. It is critical to select a lane for your Pokémon. In the Pokémon Unite game, there are three lanes. Top Lane Central Lane Bottom Lane Top Lane: Each team has two goals and several wild Pokémon in the top lane. Rotem, a rare wild Pokémon that spawns in the center of the Top Lane, may also be found in the Top Lane. When a Rotem is seized, the opponent's goal is weakened, and 20 goals are scored. If you're a Speedster, Attacker, or Defender, Top Lane is a great option since it allows you to score more goals, particularly with Rotem. Central Lane: Compared to the other MOBA games, Pokémon on Unite's center lane is a swamp. In the center lane, there are no goals - - it is quite calm and easy-going throughout most of the game. It has various wild Pokémon as well as Bouffalant and Ludicolo. A unique boss called Zapdos will spawn during the last two minutes of the game in the center of Central Lane. For 30 seconds, the opponent's goal is rendered susceptible. As a result of their mobility, Speedsters and All-Rounders enjoy Central Lane very much. Bottom Lane: Bottom Lane contains two goals and a few wild Pokémon for each squad. Drednaw, a rare wild pokemon that spawns in the center of the Bottom Lane, may also be found in the Bottom Lane. Players receive a temporary shield for the entire squad, as well as some experience points after beating Drednaw. Attackers, Supporters, and Speedsters do best in the Bottom Lane. 9. Drednaw Drednaw is a rare wild Pokémon that appears in the center of the bottom lane at the 7-minute mark. After beating Drednaw, the whole squad receives a shield and experience to level up. Drednaw is a significant player who alters the game. It is simpler to push opponents and secure goals with the shield. Furthermore, it grants experience points to the entire team, allowing the Pokémon to level up. Drednaw can assist players in quickly destroying the lower goals. However, while battling alongside the Drednaw, keep an eye out for the other squad. It makes no difference how much damage your team does; whoever takes the most damage receives the experience and the shield. In the last two minutes, Drednaw despawns. 10. Rotem Rotem is a rare wild Pokémon that appears in the center of the top lane. Right around the 7-minute mark, Rotem spawns near the Drednaw. After beating, Rotem undermines the opponent's goal and rushes to the nearest goal, scoring 20 goals. It is critical to know when to beat Rotem — it is less significant than Drednaw, providing experience to the entire squad, which is more valuable than 20 goals. 11. Attention Alerts Attention alerts are essential in Pokémon Unite. The majority of people overlook this and fail to realize the message. The following are the key messages from the attention alert. We're really struggling: Your team is losing by a score of 100 points or more. We're struggling to keep up: Your team is down by a score of 22-99. It's a close battle: Each team has a 0–20-point differential. We're in the lead: Your squad leads the opposing team by 22-99 points. We have a huge lead: Your team enjoys a 100-point advantage over the opposing team. 12. Zapdos When the game's last two minutes begin, Zapdos appears in the central lane as a boss Pokémon. Being a game-changer upon defeat, it gains points and the opportunity to score a goal immediately. This might make it easier for the team to eliminate opposing objectives. As with Rotem and Drednaw, whichever side receives the last blow receives the ability. As a result, during battling, players must be wary of the opposing team. It is critical to go to the middle lane a few seconds before Zapdos appears. This is done so that any opponents may be cleared out and secured before they spawn. Whether a team is 20 points or 100 points behind, beating the Zapdos will secure a win. 13. Last 2 minutes The final two minutes of the game are the most important. The point is virtually doubled for each secured goal in the last two minutes. It is also the time when Zapdos spawns. You'd almost certainly win if you defeated Zapdos. Therefore, the primary action occurs in the center lane during the last 2 minutes. 14. Bouffalant and Ludicolo Bouffalant and Ludicolo are extremely rare wild Pokémon that may be found in the central lane. When defeated, Bouffalant grants an orange bonus; when struck, this perk helps slow down the adversary. On the other hand, Ludicolo grants a purple boost when defeated, which raises the damage delta against opponents with low health. They spawn with other wild Pokémon at the start of the game. Beating them at the outset of the game provides you an advantage over your opponent. Most significantly, one must beat them seconds before the Zapdos appears. This can provide players with a significant edge over their opponents. 15. Performance Points Once you have enough performance points, you will be able to advance to the next rank. To get benefits in the Ranked System, the following objectives must be met: Scoring 50-99 Points: 5 Performance Points Scoring 100-199 Points: 10 Performance Points Scoring 200+ Points: 15 Performance Points Win Streak Bonus: 10 Performance Points Sportsmanship: 10 Performance Points Participation Bonus: 10 Performance Points

Pokémon Unite is a strategic MOBA game that was announced for the first time on June 24, 2020, during the Pokémon Present event. Initially, it was supposed to launch only for Nintendo Switch but on September 22, 2021, it was released globally for mobile devices, which also was hinted at along the way. You can download Pokémon Unite from Google Play Store and App Store right now and experience the magical world of Pokémon Unite. The game also supports cross-platform gameplay, so you can transfer your accounts data from Nintendo Switch to your mobile device or vice versa. About Pokémon Unite: The game takes place in Aeos Island and lets players compete in 5 vs 5 unite battles. The game's starting map is the Remoat Stadium. There are 3 different lanes on the map: the top, the middle/jungle, and the bottom. The top and bottom each have 2 of your own and your opponents' goals present. The area between your goals has a bit of a speed boost. The battle usually lasts for only 10 minutes and the team scoring the most goals win. The players need to collect Aeos energy by defeating wild Pokémon or the opponent Pokémon and deposit them to the opposing goal. Once they bring enough Aeos energy, the opponents' goal is taken down. They can do the same to yours, so don't forget to defend your goal posts to not let them score. Pokémon in Pokémon Unite: There are many different Pokémon that you can play with in PokémonUnite. Like every single Pokémon game up until now, you can choose your starter Pokémon. In this game, they include Pikachu, Charizard, Snorlax, Talonflame, and Eldegoss. Including the starters, there are 23 different Pokémon to choose from in the game. You can unlock other Pokémon as you play the game more and more, or just buy them through the in-game store. Each Pokémon has its class categories from the 5 present in the game- All-Rounder, Attackers, Defenders, Supporters, and Speedsters. In a battle, even if you take a Pokémon's last evolution with you when you deploy, such as Charizard, the game starts with its first evolution (Charmander in this case) and progresses as you acquire more experience points. A Pokémonhas two moves at first, and the player must pick one to keep; the move that was not chosen is unlocked at level three. These moves are updated as the player progresses through the stages, with the player having the option of replacing the move with one of two other moves. The Pokémon's Unite Move, a separate, strong attack that needs charge over time, is unlocked at the Pokémon's final level. By playing multiple battles, you earn Aeos Energy, Aeos Coins, and Battle Points. Items in Pokémon Unite: There are two different items systems in the game- Held Items and Battle Items. Held Items allows players to boost their Pokémon's stats and make them even better in battle. You can only have 3 Held Items at once and they can be upgraded up to level 30. There's a whole lot of Held Items to choose from in the game, and they massively affect your build and your role during the battles. They can be bought with the help of Aeos Tickets. Battle Items are the items you can actively use while in a battle. There are present right above the moves panel. There is also a wide variety of battle items present in the game and each can be unlocked after reaching a certain trainer level. They can help you restore your health points, affect your stats to increase damage, or help you escape the battle, the choice is completely yours. These are also extremely important while deciding a build for your Pokémon. Game modes: There are 3 different game modes to choose from: Standard Battle, Ranked Matches, and Quick Battle. Standard matches are the standard 10-minute 5v5 battles that you can play with your friends or with players from all over the world at random. Ranked Matches are unlocked at Trainer level 6, and you need to have 5 Unite Licenses to get into one. Unite Licenses are the Pokémon you collect. There are 6 different ranks- Beginner Rank, Great Rank, Expert Rank, Veteran Rank, Ultra Rank, and Master Rank. You can play against the players with your rank and level up as you get better at the game. Quick Battles are unlocked at level 8. They are comparatively shorter than the Standard Battles as they last only for 5 minutes as a 4v4 or 3v3. The Quick Battle maps change regularly, allowing players to select only one Quick Battle map at a time and each map has its own set of regulations. My Review Of Pokémon Unite: As a long-time Pokémon fan, having played all the console games from Red and Blue up until Sword and Shield, this is a completely new and invigorating game to play with. These remind me of the Mystery Dungeon games, but they've been upgraded in every way. The fact that it can be played on mobile devices is also a huge advantage, as getting a Nintendo Switch isn't always an option for some gamers, so having this opportunity to play such a brilliant game is utterly incredible. The Pokémon franchise is fresh to MOBAs, and they have nailed it in that regard. Even though the game appears to be P2W (pay to win), you can still play it without spending any money. It is, without a doubt, one of the better mobile games in the Pokémon brand, and I strongly advise you to give it a try. Happy Gaming!

Pokémon Unite is out now to play on mobile devices globally. You can get it on the Google Play Store and the App Store right now. Pokémon Unite is a fast-paced multiplayer online battle arena game in which five-player teams compete against one other. Each team must gain Aeos Energy by battling wild Pokémon as well as opposing players. Each goal is demolished after scoring the given amount of points, suggesting that if teams consistently score points, they would progressively push into enemy territory. It used to be exclusive to the Nintendo Switch, but it's now available on smartphones as well. There are now a lot more Pokémon to choose from throughout the game. Today, we'll focus on Absol and how you may personalize him to make him a formidable opponent in future encounters. About Absol: Absol is a dark-type Pokemon. In Pokemon UNITE, just like Gengar, he belongs to the Speedstar class and is a Melee Pokemon. His difficulty is categorized as Expert so you need to play with him for a bit to get a hang of how he works and how you can use him to your advantage. Absol is a Pokémon that can close the distance between itself and its opponent in an instant and deal enormous damage. His damage type is classified as "Physical." If you want him, you can get him for 10000 Aeos Coins and 575 Aeos Gems. Absol, as mentioned, is the Speedstar class with Attack as his sub-stat. Jungle or the middle lane is the best choice for Absol due to his high mobility ranking. Absol does not have evolutions so you just need to keep leveling him up over and over and get a better moveset as you go on, which could be done easily in the middle lane. He has a strong Unite move that causes a lot of damage and also offers Absol a unique condition that prevents him from being targeted by the opponent. His critical strikes are what deal the most damage, and since he's classified as an expert pokemon, you need to figure out positioning when playing with him. Best Builds for Absol - Moveset: Pursuit + Sucker Punch Build: This build can go two ways, depending on the held items you put on Absol. Pursuit will help deal massive damage to the opponent by hitting them from behind and also chasing them down much faster. It can also reset quicker and can help you get much more KOs and increase Absol's mobility to run and score a goal faster. Sucker Punch does the same while locking onto the enemy and dealing damage. In this moveset, Speed and damage are important. You can use Scope Lens, Muscle Band and Razor Claw / Focus Band build to get massive numbers in terms of damage. The second build uses Float Stone and Score Shield to take advantage of the increased mobility of the build and improve on it and score multiple goals and get a win for your team. Pursuit does not have an option of backing out so you can use the Eject button to get out of sticky situations. Pursuit + Psycho Cut Build: This build is one of the popular builds amongst players. Psycho Cut produces a blade full of psychic powers that can help reduce the movement speed of the opponent Pokemon and also increases the attack damage for up to 3 attacks. You need to learn how to get back attacks, and you'll be golden. Absol prioritizes attack above mobility, so you can just deal massive damage and flee the situation. The perfect lane for this build would be the middle lane and you also need to tag along with your teammate to go against the opponent so you can easily defeat him. You need to use Muscle Band, Scope Lens, Score Shield for this build. If you need an item to recover HP, you can always use Buddy Barrier or Potion in this build. Night Slash + Psycho Cut Build: Night Slash helps Absol dash out of a battle after performing an attack first. If the initial attack is successful, a second attack can be launched. The user dashes straight ahead in the second attack, causing damage to the opponent Pokemon while raising the user's critical-hit rate. The user's critical-hit rate increases as the enemy Pokemon's HP decreases. You can build this moveset in the crit damage direction to deal with even higher damage moves. Just use Psycho Cut to slow down your opponent and defeat them and then Night slash to rush out of the battle. You need to use Razor Claw in this build to proc Psycho cut and slow down your enemies even more. Other items you can use are Scope Lens, Muscle Band, or Focus Band. Best Held Items for Absol: We've already suggested what items you can use and here are all the details about them so you can choose the ones you want to form your perfect build. Scope Lens: Increases the damage of critical hits from basic attacks. The damage increases as the Pokémon's attack level rises. Muscle Band: Deals additional damage equivalent to 1% of the opponent's remaining HP on basic attacks. Focus Band: When a Pokemon's HP is low, each second for every 3 seconds recovers 8% of the HP that the Pokemon has lost. Razor Claw: The Pokémon's next basic attack deals a minimum of 10 extra damage after it utilizes a move. This damage increases as the Pokémon's Attack increases. This basic attack slows down opposing Pokémon's movement speed for a short time when this item is possessed by a melee Pokémon. Float Stone: Increases the speed of the Pokémon by 10% when not in combat. Score Shield: While charging up to score a goal, you will be given a shield. Incoming attacks will not prevent you from charging up when shielded. Leftovers: Restores 1% of your HP every other second. Buddy Barrier: When a Pokémon uses a Unite move, they and the Pokémon around them restores 20% of their max HP. Best Battle Items for Absol: Each match allows you to choose only one of them. Potion would have been an excellent item to use for Absol to replenish HP over and over in the beginning. X-Attack: Increases your Pokémon's Atk & Sp. Atk. for a short time. It has a CD of 40 seconds. Eject Button: This makes your Pokémon move in a specific direction. Conclusion: Absol is one of the better choices if you want to get a Pokemon from the store, alongside Lucario, in my opinion. You can utilize the held items and upgrade them to use Absol to his fullest potential. Have fun playing.

Pokémon Unite is out now to play on mobile devices. You can download it right now on Google Play Store and the App Store. Pokémon Unite is a fast-paced MOBA in which five-player teams compete in an arena. Each squad must acquire Aeos Energy, which is obtained by defeating wild Pokémon and opposing players. After scoring 100 points, each goal is destroyed, implying that if teams regularly score points, they will gradually push into enemy territory. There are tons of Pokémon for players to play with against the enemies. But today we're going to focus on Charizard. About Charizard: Charizard is the evolution of one of the original starters, Charmander, from the Kanto Region. He is also the most known character globally, for sure. He is a Fire Flying Pokémon. In Pokémon Unite, Charizard comes under the All-Rounder Melee type of Pokémon with an Attack stat. He's available as one of the five Pokémon you can choose in the beginning. Charizard is an all-around Pokémon who can attack, support, and defend, making him one of the best in the game. He can also give the Pokémon the "Burn" status for a short period, decreasing the opponent's HP continually. His difficulty is said to be Novice, so he's pretty easy to control and play with. Charizard has one of the best Unite moves in the entire game. If you didn't choose him in the beginning, you can buy him for 6000 Aeos coins and 345 Aeos Gems. He also does not have one specific lane that you need to stick to - you can use him against both wild and opponent Pokémon. But if you want to stick to one, the bottom one is the most preferred one for Charizard. He, like most Pokémon, is ineffective in the early stages of evolution, but once you reach the Charizard stage, you can do a lot of damage, and he becomes much more viable. In the Charmander stage, you need to defeat more wild Pokémon to gain more experience points and grow up enough to be Charmeleon. Charmeleon stage is stronger than Charmander and you can defeat an opponent Pokémon only alongside a teammate. Charizard is the most powerful, and once you reach that stage, you can easily solo through the entire map. Here's is Charizard's evolution chart that you can refer to: Best Builds for Charizard- Moveset: Fire Punch + Fire Blast Build: Both of these moves have recently been improved, making them excellent choices. Fire Blast deals Area Of Effect or AOE damage and applies burn status to the enemy Pokémon draining massive amounts of HP at once. You can easily use Fire Punch to shove the enemies into the Fire Blast damage-dealing area and deal more damage overall. This build makes use of Charizard's attack stat and adds more crit damage with it. It's more offensive than defensive so rather than soloing with this, attack the opponent with your teammates to take lesser damage. Fire Punch + Flare Blitz Build: This build is one of the more popular builds amongst the trainers who main Charizard. Fire Punch can be used to disable the enemies for a bit. It compensates for the Charizard's low damage by forcing it to use more and more Fire Punches to disable it. Also, Fire punch helps shove the enemy farther and applies a burn status on them to drain more HP. He also already has low defense stats so Flare Blitz can help overcome that with the help of a shield. You can use Razor Claw or Muscle Band to boost Charizard's attack stat and grant your more damage. If you're going to the defense route with this build, you can always use the Buddy Barrier or Focus Band. Flamethrower + Fire Blast Build: This build helps deal continuous damage with the help of both moves. It will extend Charizard's range, and once Fire Blast's slowing effect has worn off, you can use Charizard's Unite move and Flamethrower and Fire Blas to continue dealing damage to your opponent. Flamethrower can be used to deal damage to the enemies who are far away or the ones who are running away. Being far away is much better since you can also take much less damage and just flee to heal yourself much faster. Fire Blast can be also used to defeat multiple enemies at once. You can use Scope Lens and Muscle Band to buff your attack more and just make this build more overpowered than it already is. Flamethrower + Flare Blitz Build: This build emphasizes Charizard's ability to deliver massive damage with ranged attacks while also providing ample room for him to run and replenish his HP if necessary. Flamethrower is one the better moves out of them all, you can deal a lot of damage through a longer distance and also shove the enemy a bit. Fire Blast is fantastic for doing damage in a specific area, most fight opponents know better than to linger in that region once the flames appear. Flare Blitz, like mentioned before, provides you with a shield and causes a massive amount of damage as Charizard charges towards the enemy. You could use Muscle Band, Energy Amplifier, and Razor Claw with this build. Best Held Items for Charizard: The items mentioned below will help you a lot to push Charizard to his fullest potential. Muscle Band: Basic attacks enhance the damage by 1% of the opposing Pokémon's remaining HP when they hit. Scope Lens: Increases the damage of critical hits from basic attacks. The damage increases as the Pokémon's attack level rises. Energy Amplifier: For a brief time after the Pokémon uses its Unite Move, the Pokémon's damage is raised by 7%. Leftovers: Restores 1% of your HP every other second. Buddy Barrier: When a Pokémon uses a Unite move, they and the Pokémon around them restores 20% of their max HP. Best Battle Items for Charizard: Each match allows you to choose only one of them. Potion was a great item to utilize for Charizard to restore HP again and over in the beginning. Eject Button: This makes your Pokémon move in a specific direction. It would help you buff Charizard's movement speed and get out of situations faster. It has a CD of 70 seconds. X-Attack: Increases your Pokémon's Atk & Sp. Atk. for a short time. It has a CD of 40 seconds. Conclusion: Charizard is one of the more popular choices when it comes to choosing the beginner Pokémon game. Even though he is kind of weak early on in the game, later, he would be extremely beneficial due to his tanky nature and unite move. Have fun playing!

Pokémon UNITE is now available to trainers all across the world. It is the first MOBA game in the Pokémon series to be released. The game is a one of a kind online multiplayer game in which you must pick a Pokémon to combat in a 5v5 online battle. It was previously only available on the Nintendo Switch, but it is now also available on smartphones. Because the game is cross-platform, if you already have a Nintendo Switch account, you can move your data to your mobile devices. The game now has a large number of Pokémon to choose from. But today, we'll concentrate on Gengar and how you might customize him to make him a strong contender in future battles. About Gengar: Gengar is Ghost / Poison Pokémon. In Pokémon UNITE, he belongs to the Speedstar Pokémon class, similar to that of Absol. You can buy him from the shop for 10000 Aesos Coins and 575 Aesos gems. The main damage of Speedstar Pokémon comes from them inflicting damage with the help of status effects. They also have better speed/mobility and offense compared to other classes. He's also rated as an expert difficulty in the game, so you'll need some practice to get the hang of utilizing him. Gengar is a melee Pokémon with Special Attack as their main stat. The best and the most preferred lanes for Gengar would be the Jungle or the Middle lane, compared to the top or bottom one. Gengar is not very efficient in his early evolutions so try and stick in the jungle lane to go against wild Pokémon for 1v1 battles and gain experience points and level Ghastly up to Hunter and then Gengar. Here is Gengar's evolution chart for reference: Best builds for Gengar- Moveset: Sludge Bomb + Hex build (DPS Build): This build is one of the best for Gengar and is the DPS build for him. You need to start with Will-O-Wisp and lick. Once you hit level 5, you need to choose Sludge bomb as your attack in the options given. Sludge bomb leaves a puddle where if an enemy Pokémon steps in they have a poison status applied to them and it drains their HP. After that, when you hit level 7, choose Hex. Hex allows you to deal with the attack of effect or AOE damage with Gengar disappearing and then reappearing. When Gengar attacks an enemy Pokémon, it gives them the poison state and causes them to take a lot of damage. You can always solo in this build. You can use Potion as the Battle Item to restore HP every 30s. We will give you a detailed guide below for the held items but for this one, if you use a Float stone and Wise glasses, it would be great. With Float stone, you can move around the map much faster and use sludge bombs and use it to take down more enemies using poison statuses. Hex has the added benefit of being able to be countered by hiding in the grass, as it cannot be triggered while hiding. Shadow Ball + Dream Eater build (Defense Build): This build leans more towards strategy-based gameplay. You have to choose Shadow Ball at level 5 and Dream Eater at level 7. It works the best in the lower half of the map. Shadow Ball lets you decrease the movement speed of your enemy for a short period. Dream Eater lets you put the enemy to sleep and attack the sleeping Pokémon whilst restoring your own HP. It also helps reduce the CD of the other move, which in this case, would be Shadow Ball. Gengar does not have an escape kill of sorts and you don't need to restore your HP over and over, Eject Button would be the perfect Battle Item for this build, which will help your Pokémon move to the designated locations. Gengar can chase the enemies trying to run away and defeat them very easily. This build is perfect since it lowers the cooldown by a lot and you can spam it over and over to make the perfect defense. With this build, it's better to stick around with your teammates rather than soloing, since you can help them take down enemies much faster and chase them down as well. Best Held Items for Gengar: Gengar isn't a fully DPS character in comparison to others, but he does have the potential to be a Sub-DPS. These items are perfect for the two move-sets that you've seen above. Wise Glasses: Increases the Pokémon's Sp. Atk by 3/5/7%. Sp. Atk Specs: Increases Sp. Atk by 8/12/16 after scoring a goal, permanently. Choice Specs: Increase the damage after a hit, and is in direct correlation to the Pokémon's Sp. Atk. Leftovers: Restores 1% of your HP every other second. Shell Bell: Restores 45 HP wherever a Pokémon hits with a move and more your Sp. Atk, more HP it recovers. Buddy Barrier: When a Pokémon uses a Unite move, they and the Pokémon around them restores 20% of their max HP. Float Stone: Increases the speed of the Pokémon by 10% when not in combat. Best Battle Items for Gengar: You can only choose one of them per match. In the beginning, Potion would be a great item to use for Gengar to restore HP over and over. Eject Button: This makes your Pokémon move in a specific direction. Would help you buff Gengar's movement speed and get out of situations faster. Fluffy Tail: Helps stun nearby Pokémon and increases damage by 1.5. Conclusion: Gengar isn't everyone's first choice when choosing to battle. He's also pretty expensive since you need to get the in-game currency Aesos Gems to buy his unite card. Gengar is a really enjoyable character to play with, despite the fact that he isn't particularly easy to come by. His early evolutions are a little weak, so the more you focus on gaining experience and leveling them up, the better. Have fun playing.
