In the game, there will be plenty of plot twists, such as the assassination of the King if he makes wrong decisions, love affairs, betrayals, childrens, and family matters, battles to fight, and equipment to create for our warriors. If you loved Fallout Shelter, The Elder Scrolls Castles is your next management game to play!
"The Elder Scrolls Castles" is a new RPG management game released by Bethesda. In the game, we find all the characteristic elements of The Elder Scrolls series, such as some of the famous races in the game (Argonians, Khajiit, Bretons, Nords, Dark Elves, Orcs, High Elves, Redguards, Imperials, and Wood Elves), as well as weapons and armor (Sword, Bow, Battle Axe, Staff, Dagger, Shield). The goal of the game is to manage the castle, choose a suitable ruler, and balance expenses, food, material production, and the relationships among the inhabitants, among other things. The game offers various additional content, such as the Battle mode. In this mode, you must choose up to 3 inhabitants to equip with weapons and armor and complete specific battle stages (with objectives ranging from 1 to 3 stars) to receive special rewards like Speed Potions, Crafting materials, new weapons and armor, gacha packs, gems, etc. You must also build and upgrade all the castle's buildings and take care of the inhabitants, who will be influenced by the actions of both the King and the people they work with or fight alongside. If you enjoy relaxing and entertaining management games, The Elder Scrolls Castles is exactly what you've been waiting for!
The first content you will unlock after playing The Elder Scrolls Castle in the beginning is the King Rules. While playing the game, there will always be floating cards upon the head of your King Throne. Clicking those cards starts the King Decision. You have to pick one of the 3 possible answers to the question you receive, but be careful, if you pick the wrong one, some Character happiness will drop, and if they reach a very angry status, can also murder another Character, even the King! You can also cause your Castle to suffer from Blight, Curses and other bad status with your decision. If you pick a good choice, you will obtain a great happiness reward in your kingdom, Potion of Speed from your habitats, Golds, Food and Oil, Crafting materials, etc. Always try to choose the best answer to have a long and happy life for your King and your Kingdom.
After you finish the starting tutorial, you will unlock the Castle Building System. Progressing in the game will let you build a lot of different structures, very important to improve your castle power and inhabitant happiness. Let’s see all the building you can build and the best way to use them:
Living Buildings
Kitchen = The Kitchen produces Food for all the inhabitants in the castle. You can check your Food Storage in the Upper part of your UI. If the Food bar reaches a lower status, all your inhabitants will start to starve, consuming HP and lowering their happiness. Always try to have enough food for your castle
Oil Press = The Oil Press produces Oil for all the structures in the castle. You can check the Oil Stage in the upper part of your UI. If the Oil bar reaches a lower status, all your structures will work slower. Always try to have enough Oil for your Castle's buildings
Material Production Buildings
Mill = The Mill produces building Materials necessary to improve the level of your buildings and also build more castle rooms.
Loom = The Loom produces fabrics, necessary to craft Characters Equipment both for Labors and Fighters.
Furnace = The Furnace produces ingots, necessary to craft Characters Tools and Weapons.
Shops Buildings
Sewing Table = The Sewing Table building produces outfits that are required for Workers. Improving its level increases the rarity and efficiency of Equipment.
Workshop = The Workshop building produces Tools that are required for Workers. Improving its level increases the rarity and efficiency of Equipment.
Smithy = The Smithy building produces Combat Gear (Both Weapons and Armors). Improving its level increases the rarity of Equipment.
Wellness & Castle Life Buildings
Buffet = The Buffet building lets your character recover HP while eating. This build is very important to replenish the HP of some Character with Reckless trait or after a battle stage.
Music Stage = The Music Stage building lets your character recover Happiness within time. This build is very important to replenish Happiness, avoiding the inhabitant to become angry, sad or murderer by reaching a critical emotion status.
Bookcase = The Bookcase building is an improved version of the Music Stage. It lets you recover more happiness within less time. Place your very low Happiness Characters here to recover them faster.
The “Orders” content is the best way to increase your Golds. You have a Special Order that rewards you with a lot of gold Daily (the blue one) and up to 6 lesser orders that refresh after some time (usually from 1 to 3 hours). Remember to complete your Orders when they are available so you can increase your Golds multiple times during the day.
Every time you reach a new level in your castle, you are rewarded with various goodies (Gems, Leveling Scrolls, Potion of Speed, Special Gear, Legendary Characters etc). To increase your Castle Level, you need XP points. Completing Daily, Weekly and Special Tasks rewards you with a lot of XP, while also sometimes letting you lift Curses on your Kingdom if you are affected by it, or remove Malus etc. You can also obtain XP points by battles and crafting.
The “Battle Stages” in The Elder Scrolls are Combat Stages where you can use your inhabitant (Only if equipped with at least 1 Weapon) to fight versus different kinds of Monsters. Every stage has different Rarity (Green = Common, Blue = Rare, Purple = Elite and Yellow = Boss Battle) and 3 Objectives. If you fulfill those objectives, you will get a lot of XP and Special Rewards (Gems, Potions, Equipment etc). Also you require to complete at least half of the maximum stars objective every map to be able to fight the Boss Stage and reach the next Map.
Your Inhabitants in The Elder Scrolls Castle have a lot of stats, gear and equipment possibilities to play with. Let’s see how to make them perfect for each content:
Characters Base Stats:
HP = Health Point of your Character
Stamina = Increase Weapon damage.
Magicka = Increases Spell and Elemental damage.
Armor = Increase Defense Point
Happiness = The Emotional Status of your Character. If it reaches a low level, your character will become sad, furious or angry and could murder people, be sad for working etc.
Work Special Stats = Equipping Workers with right Equipment (Ex: Kitchen Workers with Spoon Tool and Chef Uniform) let you increase the Work Special Stats that let your character be more productive. The higher the rarity and level of the Work gear, the better the results.
Traits: Each character has from 1 to 5 traits based on their Rarity (Ex: Pyromaniac Trait makes your character skilled in Kitchen, Furnace and Smithy profession. Skilled with Fire Combat Equipment but also prone to arson). Try to match people that have positive traits between them when you work together, or they will result in low happiness, fights and kills!
In The Elder Scrolls Castles being able to combat properly is the key of success to complete battle stages with 3 Stars Objectives. Let’s see what you have during fights and how to perform better:
