Touhou LostWord: Boss Guide Stage 2-7

Chapter two in the lost world has been still not fully resolved. The Witch of Scarlet Dreams; Marisa Kirisame has asked ReimuHakurei for the final battle. Maybe you have already taken her down and waiting to get her powerful Story Card that any player would like to get before the end of the game.

 

 

Previously we have already discussed the Boss Guide on stages 1-5. This Boss guide stage 2-7 will explain defeating Marisa's alternative model, also known as Alterisa on Lunatic. She can be attacked by the same techniques or by the exact leveling in both Normal and Hard. As you have already won chapter one on Normal and Hard, you can utilize brute force skills if you are in a crisis with a Wood attacker. This will divide into two sections as Clearing the fight once and farming on it.

Guidance

 

Before going to the guide, there is a special note regarding the game. This guide assumes that units are at Max Limit Broken, and it contains a considerately high level of awakening. So, this battle is unable to without friends who have unlocked Last Words on the Lunatic Difficulty. The players advise taking part in combat only if they have no MLB friends as nothing gate behind finishing this fight on Lunatic at the time of writing.

 

Fight Overview

 

The character of Marisa Kirisame

 

The main fighter Marisa Kirisame is one of the demanding customers. She has so many skills. She can pack 7 Barriers and 133200 HP. Marisa has a weakness to Sun resistance, Star, Moon, and Wood with a Freezing and Burning Barriers immunity. She has a remarkable ability to take her skill to the table also.

 

Skills of Marisa Kirisame

 

In chapter one, Marisa had entirely randomly buff herself. But, now, she possesses a level of HP of more than 50%. She can offer three turns of herself five levels of Yin and Yang DEF Up. Marisa can use three turns of two layers of Burning Barriers to all the player units. When her HP level is below 50%, she will do her first skill randomly.

 

She can take two fairies who have four barriers and 66000 HP with her. She can use those skills regularly. One fairy can give three levels of Yin & Yang up to three turns to all the enemies, and the other fairy can three levels of up to three turns to all the enemies.

 

 As players, you have to complete two goals here. The first is to take the fairies quickly and attacking Marisa with your best skills swiftly. You have to shoot her immediately to stop her spending time below 50% of HP. Her strong skills ATK Up and DEF Down.

 

Clearing Once

 

If you are a player who wants to defeat the whole fight at once, you can choose out of the following two methods to go during the battle.

 

Aim for a Full Break-In this approach, the DEF buffs, and buffs will be inactive. There will be an average bonus of 4x damage which took Marisa out trivial. The players need some Wood or Anomaly mix attackers, which is the immune of Marisa, who can crack at least seven barriers to acquiring the goal. In the globe, there are only two units that can do this alone.

 

One is Medicine Melancholy; you can take two fairies in two turns, and the other is Lily White, who will need the help of another to take fairies for her. Then she can crack seven barriers. If you have no units, you can use Patchouli Knowledge or ReisenUdongeinInaba, a mix of Wood or Anomaly breakers, to break Marisa's obstacles. You will need tanks or healers to keep them alive during the journey.

 

• Alternative method

 

You can take a powerful team of All Last Word or Solo Last Word. As Marisa boots herself by DEF, she will come to a point where only Last Words can damage her. At that point, you want Flandre Scarlet's or Kasen Ibaraki's high firepower with Solo Last Word to defeat her. But, you need YuyukoSaigyouji's or ReimuHakurei. All Last Word unit as fairies is also exhausting your HP levels and barriers.

 

They will make a suitable environment for you to make Solo nuker's power and defeat Marisa by a single shot.

 

Farming

 

Here, you have Medicine Melancholy assuming her first and second skills are on level ten and Lily White as options of the reliable farm for the fight.

 

• If you go with Medicine Melancholy, you can team up with YuyukoSaigyouji and the third All Last Word user for a 90% compatible Full Auto setup. The remaining 10% will be the time of Medicine Melancholy's next skill, which will fail to apply a second Poison Barrier. This method will be successful as Medicine Melancholy can use for six breaks, and Yuyuko can apply for seventh of the first hit of her Last Word.

 

Yuyuko is an essential character as she is competent enough to fight with Wood's Last Word. 

 

Sometimes, depending on the capabilities of Medicine and Yuyuko to finish the fairies, you may need a third attacker also. This is the group of consistent Full Auto setups for Global.

 

• As the second method, you can team up with Medicine, empowered with five arousing begins with any remotely powerful Last Word attacker. This means using Medicine's Confusion: Into Delirium or Poison Sign: Poison Breath on the first turn of Marisa. You can use her first and second Skills with her Last Word for a complete Break in the next chance.

 

This will base on the power of your Medicine. If she is competent enough, she will be able to fight alone, or else you will need another attacker to complete the job. You have to experiment and find your best alternative.

 

Other Notes

 

While using the above methods, you have to consider this important information also.

 

• Sometimes, Medicine solo will not be fully compatible. To complete it, she will rely on both fairies to get four Poison Barriers. There will be only a 60% chance for a third Poison Barrier on Skill Levels Poison Sign: Poison Breath and max arousing in all the goals. Medicine's skill, Poison Mist will have only a 90% chance to appeal a second Poison Barrier. So, it can be a failure too.

 

• When using Lily White, you need to have more Last Word attackers. One should be a powerful All Last Word to look after fairies instantly, the other one to remotely powerful the Last Word to defeat Marisa when she is weak. In turn, first, players will have to take powerful All Last Word.

 

You can use any mix of Spring Sign: Surprise Spring and Petal Blizzard. It will base on your capacity of Spirit Power restoration of Story Cards and if the Max Limit Broken or not. You have to crack all the seven barriers of Marisa. After that, you can take any remotely powerful Last Word to defeat Marisa.
