Confidently traverse the world of music theory, recognizing notes, chords, and intervals in a flash.
NO piano needed- but if you have a USB connection or bluetooth, "white keys" (among other levels) is an interactive playable set of levels for note identification.
Parents/Teachers: This app focuses on intrinsic rewards more than extrinsic. It aims for the delight of knowledge gained and skills mastered to be the primary rewards.

White Keys/Black Keys: Playable 5 finger positions for bringing together visuals with playing.
Note Identification (no piano needed): Treble, Bass, Alto, and Tenor Clef, +/-3 ledger lines
- Identify note on a given clef.
- Key innovation: review levels are multi-note, similar to reading 'words' of notes rather than 'letters' (one note at a time)- which is how real music is read.
Terms, Signs, and Ornaments
- 200+ common music directions and instruments
Key Signatures: Treble, Bass, +/-7 sharps and flats (all of them)
- Identify the major/minor key
Scale Degrees: Treble, Bass, +/-7 sharps and flats, (1-7 degrees)
- Identify the note, major key and technical degree name (tonic, supertonic, ...)
SR = Sight reading
ET = Ear training
Chords: Identify quality (major minor). SR/ET
Cadences: Perfect, imperfect, plagal, deceptive. SR/ET
Chords: Treble, I chord C maj, root, first, second inversion
- Identify notes and chord
Intervals: C maj, Bass & Treble
- Identify interval from minor second to perfect octave.
Ear Training
- Identify notes as lower or higher, then intervals as bigger or smaller, and then to identifying the interval itself (minor second to perfect octave)
- Melody playback & identification (play by ear)
Rhythm playback & identification SR/ET
- Tap on the phone or play with a keyboard (single staff- two staff coming soon).
