Agrotag MFE Description
The AgroTagMFE application and its corresponding WebGis Platform are tools designed to support the identification, qualification and sharing of technical information about the management and extraction experiences in the Amazon Biome aiming at the identification and qualification of the family production areas of açaí, andiroba, babaçu, bacuri , chestnut, pau-mulato and pracaxi.
The technical information collected in the field by the application, accompanied by photographic records and georeferenced drawings of the areas of interest, are automatically sent to the WebGis Platform, an online interface where partner users access the data and have the opportunity to employ spatial analysis tools that allow the generation of consolidated reports and output maps. As in the application, the WebGis Platform allows the visualization of the set of sampled points, based on images from Google Padrão, Google Satellite, or from the mosaic generated from high-resolution Rapideye images acquired by the Ministry of the Environment for the entire Country. The System also contains in its database information from the Rural Environmental Registry (CAR) made available by the Brazilian Forest Service. In addition to this, other databases and information plans are available on the Platform, allowing the user to have the opportunity to integrate the information collected in the field with others already available. The data collected by the user with the AgroTag application can be accessed for transfer from the Report item, obeying the access levels established by the coordination of the Forest Management and Extraction Project.
