The development of private radio broadcasting in Turkey from 1990 to the present
Aksaray FM Radio, which started broadcasting by following the process, was founded by Abdulkadir Ay in September 1990 under the name of Aksaray Fm Super Show Radio. Coinciding with the first year of Aksaray province becoming a province, it is the city's first radio company that addressed its listeners by saying "Hello Aksaray Province" on frequency 99.5 that year.
The Radio, which started to be listened to in all homes, workplaces and vehicles in the first months and never turned off, integrated with its listeners. Retired Cemil Demir, one of the teachers of that period, under the pseudonym "Erdem", and Muzaffer Ay under the pseudonym "Serdar", made the Evening Pleasure program, which was later listened to with admiration by young people. DJs named Kaan Ergüder and Ersoy Yenil took Aksaray FM to the top with their magical sailing programs. In the following years, valuable local announcers gained large audiences and integrated with their listeners.
The cassette player included in its establishment. Reel tape and double cassette tape recorders were enough to survive the sweetest and most challenging years of this profession. Aksaray Fm Radio has completed every period as a pioneer in the adventure in Aksaray in radio broadcasting, which was gradually replaced by the digital environment with the advent of computers.
