This app has been great for recording my college courses among other things. I had a few recordings that came out very hard to hear the professor on and realized turning on the background noise filter while trying to make a different type of recording was the culprit. Since it seems if there's only one voice out shouldn't be filtered out (mind you this was in early 2020 so it may be fixed now) that's the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars.

Definitely the best voice recorder application on Google Play I've ever seen. Little to no ads with free premium or no ads without premium, accurate waveforms, best space saving (60 kB per minute on lowest quality,) extensive customization options with privacy-friendly options, cloud services, and more. My suggestion is extending File Splitting from 2 hours to 24 hours.

My group is trying to record a podcast but this app randomly compresses the audio when we try to save. Sometimes a two and a half hour recording will save as an hour and a half. Sometimes two hours. Sometimes, the full time. It's happened on different phones on different days. Edited: Updated to three stars for the way the customer service has reached out. They have been very quick with responses and suggestions. I'm not sure we will be using this app in the future, but it is appreciated.
