balance carbono Description
This application responds to the SENNOVA research project code 8209-SGPS-2021 called: Estimation of the carbon footprint in the initial phase of an agroforestry arrangement of Cocoa and native tree species, supported by a mobile application, at the La Granja SENA Agricultural Center , El Espinal, Tolima.
This app has the following modules:
Data registration – user registration: It is the form to register the personal data of the person who will use the application.
Crop data record: It is the form to record basic crop data, such as location, height above sea level, agroforestry species of the arrangement and the variety of cocoa to be planted.
Crop summary: In this space you can see the main crop data and the options to register greenhouse gas emissions and data referring to the carbon capture of the agroforestry arrangement.
Registration of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions: It is the form to record the events that generate GHG, among them the consumption of electrical energy, the generation of plastic waste, the application of fertilizers and compost, the consumption of fuels, the transportation of inputs, among others. With the data from the events, the App calculates the amount of Kilograms of carbon dioxide (CO2).
Record for the measurement of carbon captured by the agroforestry arrangement: In this space, data are recorded that are used to calculate the capture of carbon generated by the agroforestry arrangement, in order to determine if the balance of the carbon footprint is positive, negative or neutral. .
Crop report: It is the space where a summary of the stored carbon captures and emissions is shown, the calculation of each event, the result of the carbon footprint and the general balance are shown. The information is organized by the measurements that can be made in a crop.
