The app is designed with local elections in mind to enable and enhance the transparent collation of results.
In modern times with elections results being one of the most challenged outcomes it becomes imperative for an alternate method to capture election results. This is especially important in systems that rely on paper collation sheets to be able to quickly transmit to remote collation centers.
Safe, secure capture of election and transmission can increase the effectiveness of the election process where it guarantees that the results of an election is held sacrosanct and public trust is increased.
The app utilizes OTP(one-time-password) authentication based on phone number which allows anyone anywhere to easily authenticate and use the app
The app is easy to use and need no training.
The user has to point and capture, add polling station number and just hit on send to send the data to the collation center
Start Data Collection
Take a picture of the paper results, add polling station number and click send.
To prevent duplication of data the app only allows the user to send the results once after which the ability to send another result is deactivated.
