We are in the year 1012, the island of Britannia is torn apart by the centuries-old war between the Saxons and the Danes. The disinherited young prince Olaf leads a small band of warriors into enemy territory, infiltrating the heart of the wealthy city of Canterbury, pursuing a mission as important as it is risky. His life and honor hang in the balance, and Olaf will have to face death in order to save them both.
In this gamebook the reader will have to fight many duels using a wide range of medieval weapons, from the sword to the mace.
It will have to find its way in an "open world" with a main storyline to follow and some interesting optional subplots.
He will have to cultivate his four skills: WARRIOR, HUNTER, LEADER, ASSASSIN
You will be able to explore a carefully reproduced historical setting and meet historical or semi-legendary characters such as Thorkell the Tall and Prince Canute of Denmark.
He will be able to go bear hunting or explore a dungeon full of treasures, which changes its configuration randomly with each visit.
He will be able to meet and court a girl and then… what happens happens.
