A metroidvania wherever you go is a dream come true, but unfortunately it's got some issues. The main one being the controls. The touch controls become completely unresponsive at times and there are also many user interface bugs - there are times where an item or shard drops and there is usually an on screen prompt telling you what you get, but it often doesn't show up, which makes farming materials a pain. Keeping it at 3 because there is still a big game here, but with a terrible UI.

Bloodstained offers an enjoyable gaming experience on my device, running smoothly and keeping me entertained. One prominent concern is the frequent mention of an invisible wall glitch in many reviews. This problem appears to stem from the game not being fully downloaded, with part of the game requiring a Wi-Fi connection to download. Some players may not be aware of this requirement, leading to frustration. Additionally, the inclusion of achievement support would be a fantastic addition.

The performance has been tuned up a bit, but what this game needs more than anything is significantly better controller support. As it is now you can't even advance past the start screen with a (in my case ps4) controller. There's no way to open the menu in game without touching the screen. The most annoying thing to me is the button layout can't be changed and is just weird atm. The jump button should be on X not O. Attack should be on square not X. Everything should be rebindable
