BTOP Church Description
Bethlehem Temple of Praise (BTOP) was founded on March 17, 2002, by District Elder Stephen Halton, who continues to serve as Pastor. Initially, Bible classes were held in his family's living room, and the first praise and worship service took place at the Hampton Inn in Downtown Cleveland, Ohio. Shortly thereafter, the services were moved to a meeting room inside the YMCA, also in Downtown Cleveland.
As the church experienced growth and blessings, it eventually found a permanent location on Cleveland's west side at 2607 Archwood Ave. BTOP's mission is to assist those who are lost, wounded, or in need. To achieve this, the church established various ministries aimed at empowering, inspiring, and motivating individuals to reach their full potential and become self-sufficient. These efforts have made a significant impact on Cleveland's west side and its surrounding areas.
The members of BTOP demonstrate their love through both words and actions. For instance, they frequently serve dinners after Sunday services to help feed the hungry, addressing the needs of the whole person—body, soul, and spirit.
