This application is for everyone who wants to read the Orthodox Bible.
The benefits of reading the Orthodox Bible instead of the acceptable but less complete Bible KJV (English King James Version) are enormous. 66 books) and their other modern Protestant varieties or modern Catholic translations (usually 72 books) are rooted in this:
1. The Orthodox Bible contains more books (77 books)
2. Comes with the blessing of the Holy Synod of our native Bulgarian Orthodox Church. This, of course, contributes spiritually to the correct reading and comprehension of the Holy Scriptures, in tandem with the Orthodox Christian life in the church.
Another benefit of reading our Orthodox Bible instead of the Bible, such as the proverbial, say, New International Translation (NIV), is that many of the meanings of Bibles with more modern translation are in the direction in which Protestant ideas and teachings centuries, and sometimes modern) of the 20th / 21st century are misrepresented as primordial church ideas about our Lord Jesus Christ and the trinity of St. Trinity. \ NThis in itself can lead to the perception of much of what is written in the Holy Scriptures (the Bible) in the wrong light and denial of the Orthodox Church as the true successor of the Holy Apostolic Church and the representation of every congregation in the name of Christ as his true church. The danger of reading such non-Orthodox Bibles is very serious, because the worldview of the church faith tradition in the church and the scriptures themselves are changed in the direction of Protestantism, Calvinism, Roman Catholicism, their various well-known false teachings and lead the reader to incorrect doctrines (dogmas ) for the faith and gradually lead to the complete apostasy of the Orthodox Christian from our Orthodox Church.
