Bush Telegraph Description
The Bush Telegraph is an app that allows you and your community to share information about emergency incidents. Crowd-sourced and real time!
You can:
Receive real time notifications of any incidents posted by your fellow Community members.
Update incidents with photos or comments.
Record new incidents that your Community should know about.
The Bush Telegraph has been designed and developed, and is owned by a non-profit community volunteer run organisation - the Megalong Valley Community and Landowners Association - with funding from the Bushfire Community Recovery and Resilience Fund (administered by Resilience NSW in partnership with the National Recovery and Resilience Agency and Emergency Management Australia) to help our community and other similar rural communities be more resilient in the face of emergencies.
This system is primarily intended for use by people, not organisations. If your organisation is interested in posting to a Bush Telegraph Community, please first contact admin@bushtelegraph.org.
