Video game designed for young people where elements and resources from our heritage will be used so that they know history in an educational way. It is a graphic and educational adventure, whose reference is Carmen Funes who invites the player to play the role of researcher. The game takes place in the present and has to recreate moments in the history of Plaza Huincul, Neuquén (Arg.) Carmen Funes is a fortinera who came from the north of our country to be part of the so-called Desert Campaign.
The game begins with a brief description of the character of Carmen Funes in first person (she tells her life, where she comes from and why she is here) and asks us for help to investigate for a documentary about the history of Plaza Huincul. It introduces us to the history and scenarios of that time. After traveling and visiting several provinces, he finally settled in this desolate and lonely place and installed his Post, which was decisive for the emergence of the city. From there, the game begins.
The narration of your story will be spoken and written. Because people are beginning to forget the history of the city, it is our duty, as researchers, to provide clarity and report on our past. To do this, in each of the three levels, we will have to fill empty spaces in images that were losing key elements. Carmen asks the investigator to help her discover it. They will travel through different important moments and scenes from the past. Upon completing each level they will have access to downloadable material which expands the history and information of each of them.
This proposal corresponds to the genre of “detective games” where you must:
* Find clues: the player must find clues in his office (or other places). These will be obtained through a classic “Hidden Object” game mechanic, by clicking on different elements of the environment and discovering hidden clues. With this information that we will rescue, you will be able to create the documentary that will save the history of Plaza Huincul.
* Join clues: The player will have a blackboard in his office where he can join the clues found to solve the unknowns regarding the images.
* Add elements to images: For each unknown that we solve, an element will be added to add to the image. These elements can then be inserted into the image, being able to play with the position where they will be inserted, in an analogous way.
General Objective: Make the Historical Heritage of the city of Plaza Huincul accessible. Take ownership of our history and be an active resource in its construction.
Specific Objectives: * Use in classrooms. *Make cultural heritage visible. * Educate for the preservation of heritage.
