The goal of the game is to "take" the opponent's king, having 12 pieces at his disposal. I suggest you try your hand and wish you victory! Each set of figures includes: king (♔, ♚), queen (♕, ♛), two rooks (♖, ♜), two elephants (♗, ♝), two horses (♘, ♞) and eight pawns (♙, ♟). At the initial position, the figures of both sides are placed as shown in the diagram. Whites occupy the first and second horizontals, blacks occupy the seventh and eighth. The pawns are located on the second and seventh contours, respectively.

How to play
