The Abu Sha’ar Brothers, or the Companion Abu Ayyub al-Ansari Band, is a Syrian Islamic anthem band, consisting of ten members, six of whom are brothers from the “Abu Sha’ar” family. Their father, Sheikh Muwaffaq Ahmed Ismail Abu Shaar Al-Husseini Al-Rifai, who in his youth was a vocalist for some of the great scholars in Damascus and was a melodic scholar.
