Shut the Box Description
Shut the Box is played using 2 six-sided dice with objective to score all tiles in a set of tiles which are numbered from 1 through 9.
Each player rolls the dice and counts sum of the rolled dice numbers. Player can then select any combination of the tiles whose sum matches sum of the rolled dice numbers. Each tile can be selected only once. After selecting all possible tiles, player again rolls the dice and selects remaining tiles in the similar manner. If no combination can be selected after a roll, then the turn is passed to the next player. Sum of the remaining tiles is noted down as the penalty points for the player.
Once all players have played, the player with the lowest penalty points wins.
