Believing in the city’s potential, Mr. Eduardo Ferreira Abdulmassih and his father, Fauze Abdulmassih, obtained the concession and, on December 25, 1987, they opened the broadcaster Difusora FM. At the time, its programming was varied, with notable programs such as "Caça ao Tesouro" and "Recadinhos do Coração", which reached an almost insurmountable level of audience.
In July 1992, the radio's programming underwent a radical change, becoming 100% country music. This transformation consolidated Difusora FM as the leader in audience in the country segment in the region.
