DRiZ – Deutsche Richterzeitung Description
The Deutsche Richterzeitung (DRiZ) is a monthly magazine that focuses on topics relating to judicial policy, legal policy and domestic policy at the federal and state levels. The DRiZ relies on a mixture of analytical texts and background pieces, interviews and comments. Legal essays and contributions from ministers, members of parliament and high-ranking judges round off the offering. The editorial team of the Deutsche Richterzeitung and a renowned circle of authors from the judiciary and politics, research and teaching always provide the readership with practical and up-to-date information. Journalists from other media also write regularly for the paper. The DRiZ takes up the political debates that are important for the judiciary and for judges and prosecutors very early on, and it also repeatedly initiates discussions itself with its exclusive news. Between the publication dates of the magazines, the DRiZ editorial team keeps its readers up to date with short messages via the app. The judges' newspaper has been published since 1909 by the German Association of Judges (DRB), in which more than 18,000 judges and public prosecutors are organized.
