The book How to Take Control of Power Without Net is an attempt to summarize three thousand years of human history with selected stories about how a person acquires power, understands it from its various aspects, protects himself from its arbitrariness and tyranny, preserves it and exercises it with wisdom and reason, or neutralizes it to prevent its evil. These stories overlook the human experience from different times and places, extending from Japan to Peru, and from the beginning of the recording of history to our present days.
It contains negative or positive lessons that combine an element of suspense on the one hand and applications in practical life on the ground on the other hand, whether one loves it or hates it. It is a depiction of what happened, not what should have happened. A description of human beings as they actually are and not as one wishes them to be.
