EM Control ™ Description
The Novartis Patient Support Program was designed to accompany multiple sclerosis patients in their treatment management. As part of the actions to support those people who have been prescribed with Novartis drugs, the EM Control application was developed.
The EM Control application (app) is a complementary tool * to the treatment indicated by the doctor. The application was designed to accompany you in the administration of the therapy established by your doctor. The app will allow the patient to keep in one place all the information they need for the proper management of their treatment, in conjunction with their doctor, including: monitoring symptoms, receiving educational information, setting reminders for appointments and taking medications, as well as professional guidance by nurses regarding doubts without compromising the treatment required by the doctor.
How does it work?
Users belonging to the Novartis patient support program will be able to access through a single sign-on and obtain all the benefits of the application.
With EM Control the patient will be able to:
- Identify the complete process to start treatment and be able to start therapy correctly
- Have in your calendar the exact data of your appointments with the doctor or for diagnostic tests
- Set reminders and alarms so as not to forget the doses or application of your medicine
- Record your symptoms periodically and share them with your doctor
- Communicate with the program nurse and answer questions
- Learn more about multiple sclerosis through informational capsules
- Solve quizzes and games that will facilitate your learning about multiple sclerosis
- Know the latest news about the disease
* This complementary application seeks to help the patient in monitoring their treatment. Treatment should always be established by the treating physician.
