The mission of the Catholic Community of El Salvador of the World is to bring Christ's message of salvation to people through a personal encounter with Him, thus fulfilling the great commission that Our Lord Jesus left us: “And he said to them: Go for everything the world and announce the good news to everyone” (St. Mark 16, 15). In this way, and from its beginnings, this task has been implemented through conversion retreats.
"The Voice of the Community"
We continue the evangelizing work in unity with the desire of Pope Francis expressed in the speech addressed in September 2013 to the Plenary Assembly of the Pontifical Council for Social Communications:
It is, said the Holy Father, “a challenge”, to “discover, also through the media of social communication, in addition to the personal encounter, the beauty of everything that constitutes the foundation of our path and our life, the beauty of faith, the beauty of the encounter with Christ.”
Radio El Salvador del Mundo, hosted at http://www.elsalvadordelmundo.com/, has been operating since October 16, 2013, with varied programming, providing spaces for the ministries and assemblies of our community, as well as Catholic praise music, revival and worship.
The radio is in charge of the musical production that is born from the hearts of the people.
