English Fun Learning Ⓡ Description
Dr. Andrew Philominraj, author of the FIC project "English Fun Learning", financed by the Regional Government of Maule for the improvement of regional competitiveness through the insertion of the English language through English Fun Learning.
The project seeks to correct and enhance the knowledge and command of English of the nursery community belonging to the Maule Region. This project is based on the Triangle Meet methodology, made up of the nursery and children educator and guardian and/or tutor. Integra Foundation is the partner of the project and the pilot implementation is carried out in 7 kindergartens and nurseries in the communes of Pencahue, Maule, San Javier and Villa Alegre.
The project is led by academic Andrew Philominraj from the Department of Languages of the Faculty of Education Sciences of the Catholic University of Maule. He is a doctor in the teaching and learning of English and this “English Fun learning” project is his dream come true, which began nine years ago as an experiment, based on conviction and trust, when the English language was introduced to a zero-day infant and another infant followed later. Today after a new year, there is the miracle of two children speaking perfectly in English, in a non-native context, like Chile. This project is undoubtedly a commitment to bilingualism in Maule. "
