فضل عشر من ذي الحجة Description
The application of the virtues of the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah
The ten days of Dhu al-Hijjah are considered among the great deeds of Muslims, as God has sworn by them in His Holy Book (by the dawn * and ten nights) so many ask what is the ten days of Dhu al-Hijjah, as it is better than the days of Ramadan, and it is one of the great seasons of obedience that God Almighty has favored over all others. The days of the year and that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said in a hadith about the virtue of the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, and what a great reward a Muslim earns in these blessed days.
And there are a lot of actions that are recommended to be done in the last ten days, as it was stated in the virtue of fasting the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah that it expiates the year before it and the year after it, and the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, urged good deeds in the ten days, and fasting is one of the best deeds by which they draw closer to God. It was also mentioned in supplication for the virtue of the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, because of the great virtue of those days with God Almighty, and our noble Messenger urged us to multiply worship in those days, so it is desirable to supplicate during them and do good deeds, for they are blessed days, and these days with God Almighty are among the best days in which they are accepted. Good deeds and God accepts supplication from His righteous servants.
We will discuss here, God willing, an explanation of the merits of the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah and the recommended actions during them.
