Tetris 90s Description
An extremely resilient and successful version of Tetris from the 90s. It was released and sold in the form of an elongated block with a small vertical LCD screen at the top. In the middle of the block, there was a recess for fixing it with fingers. This box could also make sounds, and they were very loud and memorable. This block contained 1000 games, including Tetris and its numerous interpretations. In the 90s, this game was played everywhere: on benches in parks, in public transport, etc. Some people still have such blocks.
The authors of this online game almost exactly recreated its prototype on the screen. Here is only Tetris! A running dinosaur from “Google” is displayed on the splash screen. Here is the same small virtual screen - an exact copy of the screen of that very block. On the right on the scoreboard, there is statistics and, at the same time, settings.
The “score-record” field shows the number of points scored in the last game and the maximum result. The “1st line (Removed)” field in the game shows the number of lines removed, and in the settings mode, it allows you to set how many lines of blocks will already be on the screen at the start. The first line is set with the Rotate and Down buttons (or up-down arrows).
The “Level” field sets the speed of the game (it automatically increases during the game). It is regulated in the process of settings with the right-left buttons. Below there is a field showing the type of the next figure. Even lower - the current time, sound and pause indicators.
On the left is the very game glass of Tetris. Its size is 10 by 20, that is, 10 columns and 20 rows. Let’s remind the task. The figures falling into the glass need to be stacked in the glass as densely as possible. Lines completely filled in the process of the game disappear from the glass, freeing up space. The more lines you remove, the better. However, the longer you play, the faster the figures will fall, significantly reducing your time to make a decision on laying this or that block. The large round Reset button helps to score points faster. It allows you to quickly drop the block into the glass. Just don’t forget to put it in the right position first.
To start (or restart) the game, press the red Start button. The game is incredibly addictive. You can play this Tetris for hours!
Take a break and play this game that develops logic and imagination, allows you to relax pleasantly. Relax and distract yourself from business!
