العشر الاوائل من ذي الحجة Description
The application of the first ten days of Dhu al-Hijjah
The first ten days of Dhu al-Hijjah are blessed days that a Muslim should take advantage of in obedience to God and closeness to Him. In these days, the greatness and mercy of God is manifested to His servants, and the goals of Islamic law are achieved in honoring man and developing his spirit and body. In these days, Muslims perform Hajj, which is one of the pillars of Islam, which combines various types of worship, such as prayer, fasting, remembrance, charity and jihad. In addition, Muslims perform the sacrifice in these days, which is one of the rituals of God, which expresses piety of hearts, devotion to God, and sacrifice for His sake. In these days, Muslims abound in remembrance of God, glorification, praise, and takbeer, for these are the best and most beloved remembrances to God. In these days, it is desirable for a Muslim to fast the ninth of Dhul-Hijjah, the Day of Arafah, as it expiates two years of sins, and to fast the nineteenth of Dhul-Hijjah, the Day of Tarwiyah, as it intercedes for his fasting with his Lord. In these days, the Muslim strives to do good deeds and be kind to his parents, relatives, neighbors, the poor and the needy, for this is one of the greatest acts of closeness to God. Let us take advantage of these blessed days to increase our faith, piety, and obedience to God, for He, Glory be to Him, does not waste the reward of the doers of good.
