In addition, Muslims perform the sacrifice in these days, which is one of the rituals of God, which expresses piety of hearts, devotion to God, and sacrifice for His sake. In these days, Muslims abound in remembrance of God, glorification, praise, and takbeer, for these are the best and most beloved remembrances to God. In these days, it is desirable for a Muslim to fast the ninth of Dhul-Hijjah, the Day of Arafah, as it expiates two years of sins, and to fast the nineteenth of Dhul-Hijjah, the Day of Tarwiyah, as it intercedes for his fasting with his Lord. In these days, the Muslim strives to do good deeds and be kind to his parents, relatives, neighbors, the poor and the needy, for this is one of the greatest acts of closeness to God. Let us take advantage of these blessed days to increase our faith, piety, and obedience to God, for He, Glory be to Him, does not waste the reward of the doers of good.
