Kotak Partners Description
This App is meant only for the Kotak Business Correspondent channel of Kotak Mahindra Bank to facilitate the FKYC process or open STP accounts. Kotak employees will be using existing sales force one app already available in play store/ app store. This app will enable Kotak Banks partner community comprising of Business Correspondents to complete the FKYC process of the Wallet/OTP customers with ease. The app will also let the Business Correspondents to open STP accounts from the app with ease.
It is important to also know all the functions of the app to carry out the FKYC/ STP account opening process with ease. The functions of the app are as follows:
• Salesforce user interface facilitates Lead management and fulfilment for various business types like 811, Non-811 and Xpress.
• Supports Workflow and process builder for Leads at various stages during the lead’s lifecycle.
• Facilitates with Email services and SMS communication for follow-up with customer.
• One stop solution for completing KYC of customers.
• Integrated with various 3rd party systems for checking customer’s eligibility and offering them relevant products (Cross Sell).
• Allows Report and Dashboard creation for tracking business performance and progress.
Kotak 811 is switching our full KYC platform to Salesforce. The flow of the FKYC process of 811 Leads through the App is as follows:
• Customer will visit Kotak Mahindra Bank Website/App and submit their details.
• The customer details from the front end will be synced with the app in the form of a lead. Only the leads which are applicable for FKYC will be displayed on the app.
• These leads will be allocated basis system logics inbuilt to the users in the PIN Code.
• Post all the system checks the user will be able to open a lead record in the app and ‘Initiate FKYC’ in the presence of the customer.
• The user will then have to take all valid details in the FKYC journey, check various customer consents (biometric, SMS, etc), take declarations and capture MITC from the customer.
• After the above steps, the BC can submit the lead.
• The lead would then move to the backend for various checks.
• Post the checks, the lead would get approved and converted to a Kotak 811 FKYC account.
The flow of the STP account opening through the App is as follows:
• The user will create a lead in the app itself by entering customer mobile number.
• Bitly will be sent to customer for verification via SMS
• The PAN and annual income needs to be captured, (in case annual income is less than 5 lacs form 60 can be used as alternative of PAN)
• PAN Aadhaar linking checked, details fetched from UIDAI
• Customer will be asked other details during the journey, check various customer consents (Bitly, TnC, etc), take declarations from the customer.
• After the above steps, the BC can submit the lead.
• The lead would then move to the backend for various checks.
• Post the checks, the lead would get approved and sent to core banking system for account opening.
