Stone - a clenched fist, scissors - straightened index and middle fingers of the hand, paper - an open palm.
The winner is determined by the following rules:
- The stone defeats the scissors ("the stone blunts or breaks the scissors")
- scissors beat paper ("scissors cut paper")
- Paper wins a stone (“paper covers or wraps a stone”)
If the players are shown the same mark, then a draw is counted and the game is replayed.
