God, I wanted to love this game. It does have combat that feels just like DW. But that is like 10% of the game. The rest is just events, town building, running around doing quests, and lots of time closing spending pop-ups. The other annoying thing is that there is no way to select your starting general or kingdom. You're stuck with Shu.

In theory this is the closest version to the Console DW series. In actuality the longer you play the game the more obvious the pay to win aspect is.. and how much the piss poor pvp elements will ruin your game as the ptw players will kill you. Some characters are virtually impossible to get, and even if you do, you can't level them. Events look cool, but are impossible to complete fully due to them forcing you into the above pvp situations. No support, still glitches going on 3 weeks now.

I like the game apart from being forced to win the duels against real players and needing to enhance my weapons to progress the story. I need two legendary level 20 weapons, I've spent over a week trying to upgrade one and it keeps falling, over 1000 items worth, the random chance is rubbish and depressing. The characters are about 10x what I'd be willing to pay. Honestly spend more time now grinding rather than slashing mobs which is what I want to do given it's a dynasty warriors game.
