French version of the KidiCom Chat app
KidiCom Chat™ allows you to stay in touch with your family, even remotely!
VTech® KidiCom Chat™ allows you to communicate from your smartphone or tablet with compatible VTech® toys. All contacts in the friends list must be approved by parents. KidiCom Chat™ is therefore ultra secure!
NOTE: KidiCom Chat™ is dedicated to communication between a compatible Vtech toy and a smartphone. Smartphone users cannot add other smartphone users if no user of a compatible toy is present in the contact group.
WHY USE KIDICOM CHAT™?
. TO STAY CONNECTED AT ALL TIMES. KidiCom Chat™ uses an internet connection to let you communicate no matter where you are. Parents can also add family members and friends to the toy owner's friends list.
. SECURE MESSAGING. All contacts of the toy owner must be approved by the parents before they can appear in the friends list. Unauthorized users cannot contact the toy owner directly.
. SUITABLE FOR ALL AGES! KidiCom Chat™ is accessible to everyone, even those who can't read or write yet! The owner of the toy can thus send drawings, photos, voice messages and much more! As he grows up, he will also be able to send written messages.
. "CHAT" TYPE COMMUNICATION: With group communication, the owner of the toy can send messages on a conversation wall accessible to several members at the same time and thus create group communication.
. SHARE MOMENTS: Parents can easily share photos or drawings and post them on social media from the app.
. A SUPER FUN APP! Customize your KidiCom Chat™ avatar with your photo or choose an illustrated character for your profile. There are also many personalized stickers and messages. The owner of the toy can also have fun transforming his voice into the voice of a robot or a little mouse!
USING KIDICOM CHAT™
Relatives:
One of the parents will receive a KidiCom Chat™ ID and password when registering the VTech toy on the Explor@ Park platform. This parent will be considered as the manager of the KidiCom Chat™ account and will thus be able to manage the list of friends of the owner of the toy. He can thus:
. Send KidiCom Chat™ invitations to friends and family members.
. Accept or decline friend requests.
The parent managing the account is automatically added to the toy owner's friends list. The other parent will need to sign up for KidiCom Chat™, create a separate account and request to be added to the friends list.
Other family members or friends:
You must obtain the parent's consent to be in direct contact with the owner of the toy. Once you have created a KidiCom Chat™ account, give your KidiCom Chat™ ID to the toy owner's parent to send you a friend request.
- KidiCom Chat™ is compatible with Vtech® toys using older Kid Connect and KidiConnect versions.
