Animal Sounds Explorer Description
Animal Sounds Explorer is a fun, educational game for toddlers and preschoolers. Sit with your 1-4 year old, let them touch the animals -- they'll see a reaction and hear a sound!
Forest, ocean, arctic/antarctic, farm, savannah, and dinosaur scenes are waiting for your toddler to explore! No annoying ads -- just good, clean fun with lots of animals at your child's fingertips. Lots of surprises are hidden, waiting for your preschooler to discover. Can your child find them all? Touching some animals more than once causes different reactions, so there's opportunity for your child to learn counting, cause and effect, a bit of ecology, and, of course, animal sounds!
To get the most out of this game:
• Talk to your child about the environments the animals live in.
• Teach your toddler the names of the different animals -- let them learn from your voice, in your language. We’re talking about toddlers, here. You need to be there with them while playing. This is a critical time in their development, and no game can take the place of your interaction.
• Encourage your toddler to imitate the sounds the animals make! This is a great way to help them develop their vocal skills, even before they can talk. Asking questions such as “can you make an elephant sound?” will encourage them to use their little mouth muscles in new ways.
• Quiz them to see what they remember each time you start the game. Ask if they can find certain animals by asking questions such as “do you know where the octopus lives?”
This game has been developed with help from my own child, based on games we played together when he was a toddler. Many of the interactions and sounds were his ideas. I’ve used the development process as a teaching exercise to encourage his creativity and understanding of product development. I promised him that children from all over the world would be playing the game we made together, which is why I’ve taken the time to translate the game into 10 different languages. We’re excited for you to play it!
If you feel that your child has enjoyed and learned from our game, please leave a quick review and let others know about Animal Sounds Explorer!
